214D uppercut?

Characters seem to have a 214D move that's usually an uppercut. It's odd in that it's a D using move that deals damage.

I don't find any mention of these moves on the wiki though. What's the deal with 214D?

That would be the shield bunker. If I remember correctly all characters have it and they're usually launchers.

Shield bunkers aren't launchers. You're thinking of shield counters. And shield counter is 236D after a shield in Full Moon.

Shield bunker is the game's equivalent of Dead Angle Attack or Alpha Counter. Just for some reason they let you do the attack while not in blockstun as a real attack (albeit very terrible).

Shield Bunkers in earlier versions of melty had actually particular uses outside of Alpha Countering and used to be cancelable/comboable etc.

That was long since removed, the only remnant of this is Warachia's 214d being cancelable in the Arcade version A right now, it's fixed in console.
