It's numpad notation. All the numbers correspond to directions. So 5 is neutral (No direction pressed), 8 is up, 2 is down, etc. So 236A is down-to-forward (hadoken motion) and the A button. Learn the notation. It's the most widely used and easily understood among 2d fighters.
