For those with PSX/PS2 controllers
« on: November 21, 2007, 06:39:25 AM »
I haven't been playing Act Cadenza much yet and I recently got myself an adapter so I can use my PS controller. I'm still struggling with basic gameplay like BnB combos and the aerial part is obviously hardest thing for me. Doing stuff like j.b > j.c > j.b > j.c > Airthrow is pretty hard for me atm.

So I'd be interested in your controller setups that you like to use. I could try them myself and see if they work for me and make stuff a bit easier. :p

The standard MB pad config is
Code: [Select]
  D
A   C
  B

with R1 as Quick action, and if you want, L1 as ABC (airdash command) and R2 as AD (shield/grab).

Ah, excellent. This should be helpful. I'm assuming many people use the standard config.

I use the same as the default setup, except B and C are swapped and quick action is L2.

I use
     B

A        C

     D
Quick action on R1
So i can A+D easier, because i dont like to use quick action to grab i just use it for dodging.

By the way, Are Melty Blood and Melty Bread different games?

I don't personally use a pad to play, but some of my friends do and for the sake of saving time I have them all use the same config as Dizzynecro, with the addition of an A+D macro on L1 for the people who use it.
