I'm sorry about asking this i really am  :-[, but please can someone explain what a 5a, or 6a, or 2a or all the other attacks moves that you talk about actually mean?

refer to numpad for directional notation

ie
5A = standing A
6A = forward A
2A = crouching A

look at the numberpad

1 = down-back
2 = down
3 = down-forward
4 = back
5 = neutral/standing
6 = forward
7 = up-back
8 = up
9 = up-forward
