As far as people being worried about keyboard player vs keyboard player, this is easily solved, simply use MB Caster, and use 2 different computers, you want to use Keyboard, you have to bring an extra laptop and USB keyboard, thats my vote, if you want to be a keyboard user, beats me why, but I have solved all your problems  :o.

yeah theres netplay lagg even between two PC's directly connected through gigabit ethernet too, multi core PC's have less lag but its still present so thats really not quite an option.

if you get qualified to play at SBO, they won't allow you to play on keyboards

therefore

Banning keyboards is for your own good! You can thank us later when you're in japan.

Yeah, because we all know that every person in tourneys over here is going to Japan and is going to qualify for SBO against Japanese players.

Except not.

Unless your stick is designed specifically to mimic the parts and layout of Japanese cabs...

Carrying around something the size of a Japanese cab isn't something I think I'm ready for.

What about the PS2 keyboard that came out for FF11?  Wouldnt that allow single player setups, not to mention the ability to use it on a PS2/PS3 if a version C came out for that console?

I've never handled that keyboard so not sure exactly how it works.

Won't work, there are no drivers for it while your playing a game, only during the chat rooms, or pregame lobby. Unless a game supports it as chat, but then again it wont support any further than that.  :blah:

It was just a standard USB keyboard.  FFXI supports any generic USB keyboard in-software.
