Does anyone know how patching works, though?
Patching the game?  Just download the most recent patch, put it in the same folder as MBAC and run.  Everything should take care of itself.

Doesn't matter where you place it actually. Just point it to MBAC.

Well, MBAC ran on the NAOMI system, which is essentially a Dreamcast on crack. There were three way games ran on this: Either on a ROM board, from a GD-ROM (the standard Dreamcast disc type), or from some weird-ass satellite thing. MBAC used GD-ROMs. I'm guessing the way patching worked is that they sent a new disc to you.

(on a side note, Wikipedia's list of NAOMI games has all the MBAC versions down as GD-ROM, yet MBAA is a... ROM board[citation needed]? :psyduck:)

This is what i originally got wind of on Oct 28, 2007 5:05 AM EST

"2008 release. Guard crush from blocking too much and new art and stories and stuff. Two "grooves" with one focused on power. Hisui & Kohaku team looks to be gone. Two new characters, Roa finally a character (wasn't before for some reason)... looks like MBAC: Accent Core."

There are 3 confirmed styles so far.  Full, Crescent, Waxing/Waning Moon.  Read the thread for the details.
<Xenozip> actually i think miyako was intuitive for linalys
<Xenozip> simple because his playstyle is.. well..
<Xenozip> linalys
<Xenozip> true chaotic

MB-AA1.swf
MB-AA2.swf

Not sure where these went, but here's the very slow WIP of a translation. >_> Man, the writer adds in a bunch of fluff ((When talking about the Guard gauge and Guard Crash, he says, "Perhaps when [Guard] appears on the screen, the guard gauge decreases. When the guard gauge hits nothing, a Guard Crash occurs, I think.")). If you want everything he says literally translated, tell me, but if just the meaning is fine, that's how I'll be translating it.

If anyone is more literate than I am and finds errors, or wants to post translations, PLEASE do. I'll add it in as soon as possible.

Can't wait for spring 08....
But I'm still curious...
It's about Riz.
Is she a tatari or is she real?
Well the reason why I'm asking this is because she's already DEAD
If she IS real, then they should change V Sion's Last Arc.
If she's tatari then....

I think they shouldn't add tataris anymore.

I know people (myself included) who would be pretty disappointed if they dropped Hisui+Kohaku as a team. Controlling two people at once has a completely different dynamic than playing one at a time. I don't see why they wouldn't just remove Hisui+Kohaku from the team modes again.

But that's just me.

Hisui and Kohaku is really fun to use.
But many abuse their partner
Well it can't be helped I guess....
And they're really powerful to use :P

But why do they have do be separated?.... :fap:
Maybe ECOLE thought many players abusing them

Guys. Its not the double Maids that seem to be removed. Its the solo maids.
Look at this scan again.

Are they really removed as one character
or not?

If they we're not, are they only one character or are they usable separately?

Sorry for the annoying questions... :blah:

Like I said, the solo maids are not visible on the character select screen. Only the H&K Team. However, this could change.

That would be cheap as hell if the three "grooves" for maids were Hisui & Kohaku, Hisui solo, and Kohaku solo.

Yeah give her the chance.
It's her revenge because Roa turned her into a vampire.

Oh and fixed.
