Hay guys so I went out to their show out in Bumblefuck last weekend. Some random thoughts:
-Jesus fuck Gorgon is huge; she's taller than a lot of men. And for someone her size, she's very agile. Was not expecting so much aerial movement in her match vs. Saber, but of course it doesn't matter in the end as everyone dies to the Shining Excalibur. Standard.
-Akiha beat "Bonus-chan" in under a minute, lololol. Probably was faster than that, but you can't really tell as after Akiha Summers family roundhoused her to the ground she was just stomping her cold for the next 20 seconds before the ref stopped the fight.
-Someone needs to tell Ryougi and Sion that this is a wrestling match, not a fight to the death. Ever blow, takedown, and submission hold in this match looked like they had no other intent than to utterly destroy the other person. I loved it.
This was even confirmed when Sion didn't move for 3-4 minutes after the match had ended, and once she was helped out of the ring the person next to me noticed there was a fresh wet spot right where she was laying previously. orz.
-Luvia upsetting Rin was the surprise of the night. Luvia has a really good ability to cleanly throw someone while taking a blow. Although I'll never understand how she even survived getting blasted out of the ring by Rin, let alone being able to continue. Rin caught her clean with a blow that blasted her clear across the ring, bounced and flipped off the ropes and landed in the first couple rows of spectators. Somehow she made it back before the ref counted her out. At that point you kind of knew she was winning.
Ending was kind of a surprise though, but I do have a picture of it:
