Training Mode for Dummies, Stupid!

In this installation we will be running down the list of training mode options and explaining in full-detail their functions, (intended) purposes, and the use of enabling multiple options and features to make the most of your future training mode experiences. So if you're wondering what those weird number displays are or what that rainbow colored flickering bar means or your interested in seeing if we have any seeklet option tips you may have looked over, check out the stream and get educated!

Viewers are encouraged to post either in the stream chat or PM on #mbaa (mizuumi.net) any good questions they may have about specific feature or if you spotted something we may have missed and wish to fill us in as well as the viewers.

We’ll be streaming a set of character concept matches from Melty Blood Actress Again top players on the East Coast. This is an invite only set.

Format:
*On deck player will be forced to play through the entire gauntlet of players with their character of choice.

5 match set – all matches must be played and the final score tallied. If the final score is 5-5 a rubber match will be played to determine the winner of the set.

The On deck player’s win count will be tallied. (Rubber matches do not count towards the win total). Results will be based on the final score.

Suggestions for poverty stream days, since Captain N and Zelda are done

Transformers episodes.  Headmasters dub episodes, at least the first handful of episodes, as well as some of the most poverty of the US G1 episodes.  That shit is hiiigh comedy.  Some notes of the bizarreness of Headmasters:

Blaster is called Billy.  Blurr is called Wally  Spike is called Sparkle...Soundwave is rebuilt into New Soundwave...Sixshot calls himself a Ninja Consultant.  There's way more stupidity also.  Among US episodes, you have to get in A Decepticon in King Arthur's Court, City of Steel, and some others.

Magnos the Robot.  The whole series is available on google video as a downloadable file.  I saw this at otakon '02 in the bad anime panel and laughed myself breathless, literally.  Also, if you can get a copy of the titanic animated movie, that would also be godlike.

Any of the Joseph Lai korean bootleg anime shows.  Protectors of Universe, Defenders of Space, Space Transformers, Solar Adventure, Thunder Prince, Raiders of Galaxy, Space Thunder Kids.  Solar Adventure is my personal favorite, followed by either Protectors of Universe or Defenders of Space (I can never remember which is which).  I think they're all public domain, and some of them are at archive.org for download. Still looking for a copy of Solar Adventure, and I can't find my DVD.

Blast Processing Gauntlet was ridiculous as fuck, sp00ky. There was so much hardcore sessioning that we couldn't even finish! lol

Thanks for putting extra effort into finally getting the some of MBEC's hottest specialists under one roof for an all-out brawl. It gave me a good chance to experience different styles of play (which evolved many times in a matter of 12+ hrs) and answered the questions to pretty much all of my training mode experiments.

Big thanks to the NJ crew (jiyuna, lk, generic) for not flaking out (this time!) and making it out to this blastabulistical event and to the locals...y'all just locals so no special shouts to youuuu =p. In all seriousness though, great games to everyone. Don't let the experience go to waste y'all. review your matches cus you never know when the next time will come that we will be held captive in the basement again trying to earn our way to FREEDOM.
