the PS2 version is really outdated and is considered to be a relic now. the PC version is pretty much a port of the current arcade version. keyboard crushers exist.

As long as you're getting Act Cadenza pc version, you're set.

That is the original, just that it had an expansion in it.

Well I see in the MB store you guys link to the copy Play Asia is selling. If I buy that copy is that all I need or will I need to get some patches, expansions, etc.? I plan to play this w/ a Super Joy Box 3 Pro USB adapter and a PS2 Hori stick if that makes any difference.

If you want to netplay, however, that's something different altogether.
No, you just uncompress the files, run the netplay client, and that's it. You might have to open your router ports for it to connect correctly, but getting it to run in itself is a pretty painless thing.
