Ermm, help?

OK, when I try to play someone with MBcaster, I get an error saying I timed out with them. And if I host, they get rejected with the ERROR : RecvFrom ( Access ) And my own error, when I try to connect is ERROR : TIMEOUT ( Access ) for reference sake.

Well, I've tried looking, and I can't figure out where to configure my router settings, and ports at, because that had been done before I got this computer myself, because a family member owned it prior. Just a bit of background, incase someone wants to help for some reason, feel free to IM me at modullsitisin@hotmail.com, on MSN, or modullsitisin on AIM if you want. And if I can fix it, I can beat you with my newb tactics!


(I'm well aware the thread is dead, but, I'm just hoping somebody could help me through this, because I've had the urge to play something that isn't an A.I.)

Check portforward.com or something.

Otherwise, get someone else to host(such as on IRC) or use the standby relay, described in one of the pinned threads here, which is used when neither side is capable of hosting.

Hamachi is an absolute last resort.
