So its finally almost time

. I think ill pm some of you who havent posted in a while to make sure you havent forgotten. hope thats not a problem.

Remember, just the first round tomorrow night. We will have the next round sunday at the same time and then finish up the next weekend. ill see how this works and we may do it all in one weekend next time.

Ill try to post the first round bracket up here tonight so check back then. Regardless ill be there to make sure everyone gets set up with their opponent.

Ill be look forward to seeing you all there.

The faster the bracket gets posted the better.
Also is it really necessary for times? because you could play the person at anytime as long as it got done.

you should really place ALL of the info and updates in the first post when you get the chance. Also, I hope the first couple of rounds will be w/ players from around the same region (didn't read entire thread yet). I expect to do horribly in this event.

We'll tell you when it finishes. So far we've only done the first round. About 21 people showed up from what I can tell.

Unfortunately my connection is going to significantly be degraded compared to today during tomorrows rounds. SWP says the next one will be all in one day though, at least.

Reguarding how it went, I was eliminated by Zar.

I don't see how that would work in an already formed bracket. Normally, you would draw up a bracket for everyone who signed up. Anyone who didn't show up last night would get sent to the loser's bracket and gave their opponent a BYE (free win). However, I think a bracket was drawn up for only whoever happened to show up last night. So you can't just introduce new players after we've already done the first round. (We should've done more than that)

Also, news flash for players who still live under rocks and showed up.

2. You should have MBCaster-mauve, http://mauve.sandwich.net/MBCaster.html
3. Check the forums for your regional thread (discovered 2 Maryland players last night wtf)

Hi. I drew up some brackets in paint. Go ahead, laugh. lol. im sure there was a better way to do this but ill be happy asuming i can figure out how to post the images here.

Edit: Huray, and with any luck they will stay there. got to learn more about posting images.

Sadly, I just got a new job and am expected to work from 2pm eastern standard time through 12am Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We can either reschedule the remainder of the tournament or you guys can finish up and report the results to me. Sorry for the trouble.

Im aware the brackets probably arent done as well as they could be but they should work. any advice is welcome. I was trying to use a template to begin with but wound up just drawing my own. Oh yeah, romc and jen have to finish there match. there are a couple of blank spaces in the first couple rounds for zan and jay J and N i think. had a slight mix up. one goes one place the other goes in the other place. ask them.

Edit: addtional notes- akimoto k and ninja nero have yet to fight as far as i know. they have until 10:00 pm saturday. or were suposed to anyway. . Liquid beat me and advanced. Enhance and Roadmanb also have yet to fight.
