this game is 800 kinds of bad and i'm not sure why it's getting as much attention as it is.

then again, street fighter x tekken plays very similarly, so maybe the future of fighting games is shit.

I actually like this game as an alt. I mean, it's not as good as Vampire Savior or Arcana Heart for that, but at least it's better then Blazblue and Guilty Gear imo. Opening my heart here: the good thing in Ougon is I can payback people from other games for saying they wont play MB because of the graphics... they are usually very limited players and totally graphic whores, and I don't like those xD so I love to be able to play them (kill them) in another game. The only one who beats me here in Brazil is Shin, who is also a MB player, so it's like Ougon is saying "MB players are superior, sorry". Yeah, I really have anger in my heart for those who say they wont play MB because of the graphics...

I was not talking about the game quality, because I havent really go deep in GG or BB, but I have better feelings for Ougon then for BB or GG as an alt game. I dare to have my own opinion on this point, even if it might sound stupid. Also abc meta abc isnt the best thing to do... more like it's abc assist abc... Anyway we have games with broken/stupid combos out there... are combos what makes a fighter good or bad? I kinda like its the neutral game system with its limitations and all. Those make the game different, I like it it's way (but burst assist ;/)

the problem with ougon isn't its combo system. it's that the combo system is all it has. the footsie game is shallow trash and almost all the 'mindgames' are based around the meter system, by which i mean there aren't any because you're gaining a ridiculous amount of meter from pretty much everything that happens.
