How are most of you getting to the venue ?  The google research has me taking a Marc train to BWI and trying to find a cab to Xanadu.    If there's a better way at short notice lemme know.

Joining them was a bad choice but to shed any kind of casual status, i play where/when/who i can. Speaking of which, can i get that address so i can wmata/mapquest the hell out of  it? I remember something about it being 30 minutes from the metro.

Since its a significant step down in comp i understand if you don't want to play there. I only play there due to my spotty schedule. I'll try to make it to a more serious venue or gathering instead.

C-Wara has made me think about changing my main from C-Maids, His options lend himself nicely to my seemingly  random approach to battle. Anyone comfortable in using a charged 2c orb for anything? I've used it a bit on oki with a nero summon to moderate effect. Having it as a ghetto staggered attack is nice to have when someone decides to shield nero or run forward.  Also I've been  trying  to run a variant of the nero/warc lock down with the tk warc summon hidden in nero's shadow or visa versa.

Using netplay as a tool for  gameplay and match up experience gave me a good idea of what i needed to improve on . Travelling for irl gameplay has been pretty iffy for me, i can either make it to a venue where people aren't too serious about gaming  or even know what mb is(d.c anime club), or i can't make it to a hub of decent players who are awesome competition as often as i'd like due to scheduling/travel problems. Guess i'll rock mbaa at their next meeting.

Didn't we consider playing there a ways back? Since there's a consistent crowd now i guess this would be the best way to go. Whats their laptop policy if any?  I'm not much of a SF4 player yet so i can bring most doujin games with me.

I'm doing netplay for the moment, I hope to rock at any future meetings we have. So I'll practice to catch up with you guys.  As for Anime USA, nothing is set in stone but I hope to attend somehow.

Since the usuals i've hung with have prior engagements and obligations , are there any other players that want to get a training regiment going ? Maybe at the end of the week or something.  C3 doesn't look like a viable option for me anymore so I'm trying to get something else as serious going.  I'll also look into the  Anime USA con as a Melty jump-off if possible.

I'm usually up at 4 A.M, doing the same  Nanaya BNBs and blockstrings  on a training dummy asking why none of what I practice seems to go as well as I hoped in a match.  After that I take my stick apart and obsess over what else I could in my next tourney . Its my nightly ritual, like soldiers who take their rifles apart and reassemble them to try and keep sane.
