Hello Oooops27.

I've also encountered the "Is cccaster.v3.0.exe in same folder as MBAA.exe?" error. I don't know the proper fix for this but the thing that I tried to make it work is by directly running without any shortcut the cccaster.v3.0.exe using http://explorerplusplus.com. I have no idea how it works for me nor if it even will work for you but at least you can try to see if it does.  :mystery: I'm using Windows 7 if that makes any difference..  :prinny:

I'll probably get long winded in my explanations so I'll have one last reserved post here.  :blah:  :blah:  :blah:

I will probably have many things to explain so I will reserve some more post just in case.  :teach:  :blah:

*** This guide is a work in progress until hopefully by the time of Melty Steam Release ***

Disclaimer: I'm not an expert fighting game player so you might probably want to take whatever I say with a grain of salt.  :psyduck:  :blah:  That being said, I will try my best to provide you with whatever knowledge that I have on the subject matter and you can simply double check the info yourself later.

The goal of this guide is to supply complete newbies with enough information so that they have enough knowledge to understand how to help themselves make the first step so that they can eventually move on towards finding out stuff on their own.

And sadly, due to my lack of knowledge, this guide will only cover up to the fundamental and universal stuff.  :gonk:

Alright moving on with the actual guide... cue intro:

In a world full of saltiness and pros, one noob must rise and become... a not so noobish noob...  :V

 <<---- To be continued ---->>

I will reserve this post for future edits / revision.  :nyoro:

Edit Test.. check 1, 2 .... All systems cleared.  :prinny:

Alright, I will begin putting some little bits of info here and there later. Meanwhile here's a dummy advice for now:

"MASH HARDER!!!"

Note to noobs: Don't try this at home (or in a proper match) LOL.  :laffo:

Hello creator of See me in Melty, first I would like to thank you for making this site and making it super easy for noobs like me to join and start making lobbies and playing the game with others. It's embarrassing for me to say but I'm too noobish to use IRC or Steam or even registering in anything that has an email validation and I always let my email expire so I have trouble keeping track of those... Now that I think of it, that is some high level stuff of being a noob :slowpoke: lol.

Anyway, I would like to inform you that the website that you have made have been experiencing some technical difficulties for some time now. The first noticeable major problem at least as far as I've observed was that lobbies do not automatically close after a very very long time. As of now I can still see the lobby "created: 153835 min ago" as the longest and still up till as of now which was created months ago. This list can easily pile up and fill the entire viewing area if multiple people didn't manually delete their lobby after use and can obstruct the entire viewing area of the site. And now there is another major problem of not being able to create new lobbies at all. Users can still post their IP and play with each other but the one key defining feature of the entire site which was the ability to create lobbies for easy one click joining has not been accessible as of this moment. Then there are some minor issues that were always experienced like the occasional "freezing" when entering massages, user list names getting stuck even after logout, outdated link of the Add_Handler_Protocol.bat and even to some request to lengthen the number of messages displayed for when many people simultaneously chat at the same time easily burying their message until it can't be seen.

If you want I could volunteer and try to help in some way like maybe updating the instructions to include solutions to frequently encountered issues like restarting the browser after using Add_Handler_Protocol.bat if the CCCaster fails to launch the first time creating a lobby, etc.

I hope the lobby would be fixed by the time Melty launches on Steam. Or at least some kind place that new players could use and hold their interest long enough to make them stay and thereafter appreciate the game. I want to help in anyway that I can especially since time is of the essence with the Melty Steam release countdown ticking. Maybe I should start learning how the site's coding work to be of greater help? In any case I'm willing to volunteer for this, or at least until the potential new steam players start coming in.

Hello, I'm Phil from seemeinmelty.meteor.com. I am kinda been living in a cave when it comes to registering and stuff so I always feel daunted by the task. Anything that has email validation and/or non-browser client installation is my worst enemy  :slowpoke:. That's why I find the simple username & password registration of seemeinmelty to be a lifesaver  :prinny:.

Anyway, I'm celebrating this momentous occasion by coinciding my registering with one of the most celebrated holiday and on the half of the decade and probably aligning with the stars and stuff (lol). Okay real reason would be the combination of the need to let the seemeinmelty creator know that the lobby creation system broke, my country's net speed probably got throttled so I can't netplay with astronomically high delay so I can only do non-ingame stuffs and coincidentally Melty getting on Steam announcement so I'll just have to be content with helping some (hopefully) new people with some of the frequently asked questions and stuffs.

On that note I'm thinking of making a super-beginner-w/-zero-knowledge-beforehand-whatsoever-guide-for-dummies for the potential new players who for some reason or another bought the game on steam even though they don't even have a clue on what a fighting game is. I consider myself a beginner also but I got help from the very helpful guys at seemeinmelty but (especially w/ the current broken lobby situation) I also want to share what I learned with others in at least easing a complete clueless noob into the game. Is there a time limit of editing posts by the way? What if I make a "reserved" post to be edited in the future? Should I worry about any time limit on editing said post? Or is there no edit time limit whatsoever so I can safely make a blank post for future expansion in case the word count limit has been reached on my 1st post?

Anyways, I'd also like to say hi to everyone at the seemeinmelty lobby. I'm finally here at MeltyBread, now I think I'm gonna be automatically banned at for fun casual/beginner online "tourneys" just by being a member here lol. My options suddenly just became limited XD :toot:...   :V :bricks: :psyduck:  :slowpoke:  :prinny:
