Ciel's Tech Support / PS3 Sixaxis Controller In Windows
« on: November 01, 2007, 12:34:10 PM »
Hey peeps, was wondering if anyone uses or knows how to get the sixaxis controller to work properly in MBAC, i found the drivers for the controller and windows has successfully detected the controller and all the buttons work correctly in the  "game controllers" in the windows control panel.
The problem that i'm having is MBAC does not seem to be able to assign the "square, Triangle, Circle, Cross" buttons to any action in the game. However some of the buttons work fine such as the triggers and L1, R1, start, select etc. If anyone knows what i'm doing wrong it would be a great of help as i like the ps3 controller for melty blood.  :D

Edit: Forgot to mention if you are going to try this you need the usb cable used to charge controller that it comes with.

This is a link to the drivers that i'm using in order to get the controller to work in windows:

Ew. Just ew. Give me a stick any day. I don't need no nubs.

lol D-pad and keyboard is what i learned to play all fighting games with, i wasnt' any big arcade man, which does *look* cooler to use than a d-pad, but still not as mad as beating another person using a keyboard, thats just embarrassing for the guy using a stick or d-pad

The Demo you have for the PC is for "Melty Blood: Act Cadenza ver.B" This however has been confirmed that in June, Melty Blood: Act Cadenza ver.B will be released for PC as well as the PS2.

so has it been confirmed that they are releasing a ps2 port as well cuz afaik
they only officially announced the pc version.
From what i understand its only the PC version.

Well i could be wrong, i don't speak japaneese but its also on wikipedia that it will be for the ps2 and pc http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melty_Blood

I've only tried out "Melty Blood: Re-Act" on vista and i know that works, i've never tried out the "Melty Blood: Act Cadenza ver.B Demo" on vista yet so i don't know about the problems your having however you seem to be a bit confused about something. There is no version of "Melty Blood: Act Cadenza" for the PC, that game is a re-balanced arcade port  only released the PS2 on august 8th 2006, The Demo you have for the PC is for "Melty Blood: Act Cadenza ver.B" This however has been confirmed that in June, Melty Blood: Act Cadenza ver.B will be released for PC as well as the PS2. So if that is what you've been trying to find that online to buy, you'll have to wait another 2 months or so, the exact day i dont' know but thats the month its planned to release. Hope that clears up why you can't seem to find the PC version.
