Any Flaming or Trolling will be reported to an Admin/Mod. I do not care to hear "You suck" a hundred million times. You can offer constructive criticism for us to make it funnier.Oh c'mon, what did you expect? When you write something like that It's only natural everyone is going to flame you. It was expected, you gave them ''amunition'' and they payed you back. The admin locked it because it wouldn't stop until everyone on the forum had their part of the fun. And well, the admin is a too only a human so he naturaly wanted to have some fun, too.
But still, not liking the video isn't a reason to lock the thread. The thread was locked mainly because it was a ''flame-war battlefield'' and was more or less pointless.
I'm using that save as well, AT:E is such a waste of space, really...try to change the renderer to Direct3D9 (Hardware) and interlacing to Wave tff (saw-tooth) or just to none. I don't know if it'll help, but maybe it will. I'll play with the plugin around a little and see what works.
Now that the game sort of works I'm a bit hesitant to change the settings in fear of ruining it,
but i guess i can't progress if i don't even try.
When it comes to video plugins my only choice is GSdx SSE2, all the others crash.
anyways, anything you see i can do to maybe improve speed?
You know it might be gamePLAY time? Not just sitting in the menu...Maybe I'm not the most inteligent one on the planet, but I'm no THAT stupid. I know it's gamePLAY time that counts. -_-
The first time I fired it up it had input lag and it's still the same. I'm pretty sure it's not the laptop I'm using or the converter since I have other emulators and there's no input lag with those.Well, for whatever reason emulator+MBAA= input lag, I don't think you can do anything against it. But you can try a different controller plugins, I don't know where to download any, but try to google it.
I think I've got it, unlock everything, then let it sit for a long time. Then shut the game off, don't touch it for like a day then run it game again. That's how I got ArchetypeWell...I have everything unlocked, the game was definetely running more then 24 hours and I don't think an emulator has any kind of a clock, so it doesn't matter how long I don't play the game.
Tried it, there was no difference except the screen kept flickering.Well at least you can allways say your pc is able to emulate a PS2. :3 Anyway, have you tryied the ZeroGS graphic plugin? I think it runs better on older PCs, I'm not 100% sure, but I think you could juice some extra FPS's with it. The graphics are....well....worse (pixelated) , but it should run better.
guess the only thing left to do is mess around with the speedhacks.
I'm done for tonight, 6 hours straight of figuring these things out is really boring.
Oh well, 40 FPS is better than 6 FPS.
Anyways, do it matter if the BIOS i use is from a PAL ps2?the bios shouldn't matter since it's an emulator and for those speedhacks, most of it depends on you PC and how much more speed you need for better fps, i suggest the x2 cycling, but you can try and see how the game runs
and about those speedhacks, of x1.5, x2 or x3 cycling, which works best?
