Basics:
~2C xx BE 214B xx 22C 214B(!) 22C 214C xx 22A
Meterless/chargeless/anywhere on screen OTG orbloop, nets you a free orb and a charge for their wakeup.
You can set up another orb after 214B(!) with this combo.  Also, 214B(!) won't hit if you hit 2C too close, especially on smaller characters, so I use 214A instead.
Code: [Select]
~2C xx 214[A] xx 22C 214A(!) xx 214[A/B/C] xx 22C 214[A/B/C] xx 22A

Encompass your combos within the code tag to avoid the bold like so:
Code: [Select]
~2C xx 214[B] xx 22C 214B(!) 22C 214C xx 22A

I do 96A+B after TK j.214B for the IAD. Just find the timing for a double jump after TK j.214b and it'll be pretty easy to land j.[C] afterwards.

Oh, so that's how it works.

5[C] 2C 2A (whiff) dash 214A j.ABC(possible to j.BC but j.ABC is more stable) j.B 9 j.[C] j.A (whiff) j.214A (land) dash 214A j.BC j.[C] j.A (whiff) j.22A/C
How do you get the j.214A after j.[C] in this combo? I use up the otg relaunch with 5[C] 2C 2A (whiff) dash 214A.

The combo I use after a 5[C] mid-screen is:
Quote
5[C] 2C TK j.214B IAD j.[C] j.AAB (land) j.BC j.[C] j.22A/C

Tested to work on Nanaya, VSion, and WLen, and carries to the corner.

Probably a bit more.  There are shader effects in CC and there wasn't any in AC.

You can do the same thing with just one computer.  A lot of mid-end cards come with 2 DVI and 1 HDMI port and you can output the same thing to two different monitors and a capture card.

EDIT: Synyster Spirit already said it in his long post.

I'll see about coming up to Denton some time, but I don't see myself making the trip very often since it's an hour drive and on a Sunday.

DrgnAK: Just curious, do you play Melty, and do you still live in Arlington? Do you know anyone else who plays in your area?
I just started learning Melty somewhat seriously and I still live in Arlington.  I have a friend who plays mainly SSFIVAE that I sometimes play Melty with, and I also play with a couple of super casual friends at UTA every Tuesday/Thursday.  If anybody goes to UTA, PM me and I'll give info on where to meet up for some games.
Have I met you before, and just can't remember? I am very bad with names.
We might have met before if you went to the Bar Fights when they had Arcana.  My friend and I messed around on the Melty setup that was in the corner when nobody else was on it for a couple of minutes until my friend had to play a game.  The only person I tried to talk to there that played Melty was pfhor, though.  Otherwise, probably not.
Here or on SRK? I recently looked through some of the old SRK events in Texas just to see what events were out there. I'm shamefully ignorant of the larger Texas community.
I didn't see anything from UFO either, though I did see some more recent events listed for them. I might have missed them though, there are so many events to go through.
On here.  I saw a thread for AUFO with Melty and Arcana listed back in May, and was considering going for Arcana and SSFIV.  I was surprised nothing was posted here.

They have a beta test signup on the razer site in the OP if anybody wants to try to score a prototype.

They hosted zero events, or if they did, no one knew about them, and they did not bother to promote them. I guarantee that we in DFW would have driven down every time (with in reason) if we knew an event was going on for melty. There was absolutely no reason for CC to get sold if the locals hosted events for it. I can only conclude that Austin has no scene. If they did, I might direct you to them, as they are like 2 or 3 hours away from you.
I vaguely remember a couple of events at UFO that were supposed to have Melty on the side (before CC was sold off) along with the mainstream games, but Melty was canceled each time because of attendance.  I told pfhor about one of them once on IRC and he seemed surprised that there was going to be Melty at some UFO event.  I only saw that they were having Melty there from the SRK thread, which is pretty silly.  Have a Melty tourney and forget to tell Melty players to show up.

Edit: Scanned the event forum and didn't even see any UFO threads, lol.

I've never heard of the Ringwide before. I'm curious as to what the specs are, like how it compares to something like the Taito-X2. I'm not sure exactly what the motive is behind moving to new hardware, but I highly doubt it means they're going to give it any graphical updates. KoF sure didn't take full advantage of the Naomi's capabilities when the series moved to it.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Sega_arcade_system_boards#RingWide

RingWide is made of inexpensive components. Even a new computer built with cheap parts can completely dominate it spec-wise, since it relies on SDRAM along with a recommended graphics card series about three years old and processor that was weak even when it came out.

Anyone know how much money it takes to manufacture NAOMI cartridges? That is the only reason I can think of to make them switch, besides Sega basically dropping support for NAOMI.
