Well then hopefully our Bridget cosplayer will still be in character.
:slowpoke:
also, I'm not exactly much of a cosplayer, and If i do wear something its usually undead zombified vampiric something or other. (glad that Melty blood provides a wholesome supply of the latter)

Hrmm, I wonder where I left my trenchcoat

5
I'll be there, possibly in costume since its so close to hallows eve =D

lol, god i could imagine that stick being modified with a sound board so that every time you moved the joystick it would go "waka waka waka waka" :V :V :V :V

Mine is stock right now, but i wanna mod it somehow. That being said i don't really know how.

http://slagcoin.com/joystick.html was what I used, this reference site has everything and anything you ever wanted to know about Arcade Sticks.

that thing is a beaut, I kinda wish i rolled with an 8 button layout.  :D

I was quite surprised to find out there wasn't one of these threads in the Meltybread forums, the one in Shoryuken has always been a great inspiration for me, but id like to see what the MB community rolls with.

In any case I will start off:

This is my first and only arcade stick (yet). I have planned to make another in the future but, for now, It's my baby =D

special thanks to Roudousha-Adji from Deviant art for the artwork.

I myself will be of little help but, instead I request whoever responds to this to break it down. I'm in the early stages of learning japanese myself and would like to see how the above sentences would be constructed. its all great and nice to learn the basics to say hajimemashitte and neko desu, but I wouldn't mind seeing how various uncommon sentences are constructed.

Double post, but I had an idea. Since NYC is a bother for people in NJ to go to and those around the tri-state area, I think if there was a small gathering or two held at NYC over the weekend this is being held, more people would be willing to go.

I think this is a good idea, but don't know who to try to push this idea with or who can even host a gathering, so I'm just shooting this idea out here. I think this can work for trying to revive the scene a little and get some hype, so let's try it yeah~?

it would be a nice idea, I'd look forward to helping out with it, if needed.

I'm a bit of a Tou-whore myself, despite only playing Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil and Perfect Cherry Blossom. Both of them were truly amazing. Everything from Zuns musical syncronicity with the stages to the characters, to the subtle humor are jawdropping. Few game companies ever put that much attention to detail and he's just one man! As a writer and one who has always wanted to make a game of my own, find Zun an honorable inspiration.

That aside, chen, the prismriver sisters, patchouli knowledge, my favorite tomboyish nine ball, sakuya, meiling, letty, marisa and especially alice margatroid and flandre scarlet are amazing characters

Id love to play the PC98 games, especially mystic square.

its a real shame that this game is so unappreciated in the west coast, the game is a thousandfold more balanced and offensive then Blazblue and "Tigershot-o-rama" fighter

I'm just glad I coincidently live in the right place for MB =D

Why is New Jersey so full of melty players?
Both coasts are like that for any fighting scene, generally. Nj has a hoooooooj smash community

Good afternoon everyone, I was actually trying to find this thread for a while. Course I wasn't surprised to find it next to the tea :o

Technically I've known of this place for a while but never wrote a post before. Now that I bought melty blood actress again, I figured id finallty joiin the community and play competatively for the street cred and pishi haters along the east coast =D

As for a little about myself, I'm a 22 yr old college student/writer-in-progress with an obsession with video games and great stories. I'm bilingual in english and spanish, and studying to learn japanese as well.

My fighter experience is fairly short but I really love playing smash brothers melee(samus/g&w mostly)

My mains for melty blood in act cadenza were aoko and nero, I'm prolly keeping suit in actress again but will prolly give seifuku akiha a shot as well.
Hit me up for casuals if you live in north jersey :D

How close are you to the GSP?

How old are you?

Favorite color?
I'm in sparta nj so its a bit of a drive to the nearest junction at east orange 280, although I usually don't mind moderately long drives across north jersey.

I'm 22 yrs old

And my favorite color is red, followed by blue because of its other name being azure (love names with z's and j's)

North-West Jersey here, just 10 minutes outta RT 80. Just entering the scene now. I was playing Melty Blood Act Candeza with a friend of mine who lives in Texas via Netplay for over a year or two before AA was released. But now i decided to undust my ps2 and get back in =D

With the lack of Netplay possible for Actress Again, im in dire need of some friendlies, join the Help-A-Newblet Foundation TODAY! :teach:

I also have super smash brothers melee if you are up for some samus missle spam  :slowpoke:
