may seem like a dumb question but any of the vids I follow that link to nico don't load up any videos for me, just a page with a few options on it and a thumbnail of the video. Anybody care to help a noob out?

I was definitely not getting the first combo to do 4200 damage. Though I was opening with 5A, and putting in 2A in place of 6A... apparently I read the combo wrong in the H-Roa thread. 
At any rate I was getting it to work just fine with 2A instead of 6A because I read it wrong lol.
The second combo is a little to tight for me, as I said my execution isn't amazing and I mean I just learned that there was a 214D like a couple weeks ago. (been playing since ReACT FT)
At any rate the combo I've been doing is 5A 5B 2B 5C (2 hits) 2C 6C j.BC dj.BC airthrow. It does almost 3900 damage, which I know is like nothing for you guys, but I'm just starting out, so I think I'll be sticking with this as my BnB until I can get some of the trickier combos down consistently.

Hey so I like playing H-Roa and the combo I've been doing is 2A 2B 5C 2C 5B j.A j.B j.C dj.B dj.C throw.
It's got ok damage (3468) and is meterless, but I've seen match vids of Roa's (not sure which style) doing a lot more damage. Just wondering if anybody could give me some tips.

Would Final Fantasy count? I mean, it went from RPG to Shooter with Dirge, and I never played Crisis Core. Personally I think Dissidia just does not cut it. I want to see Vincent vs Sin. Idk, a doujin fighter with every character from every game would be awesome.
Naruto needs a GOOD 2D Fighter.
NGEvangelion. Mech battle fighters are cool.
Baki would be cool.
Berserk if Guts wasn't playable lol.

A tenchi muyo fighter. It could be, "Tenchi: All fight for Tenchi!!" and all the female cast are playable, and the storyline is they're holding a tournament and winner marries Tenchi. Could totally work.
Kikaider. I would love to play it.
Ninja scroll fighter would be cool.
Not really an anime... well I guess Z, but Power Puff Girls. If there was a good fighter for this, I'd be playing it constantly.

It's not that he doesn't have corner pressure in C, it's simply that the only combos I used, and could consistently pull of as my BnB do significantly less damage now. T_T

Yeah, I'm kinda just browsing around the character list now, though the game is really feeling foreign to me lol. I just tried H and F Mech Hisui, and I don't like either of them at all. I also tried out C Ryouga, and I don't like her at all. I've tried Ries, and I like the F version, though it's impossible to combo anything, and I can do the H combos, but I don't like the play style.
I think I'm gonna try out C Kohaku and see if I can get a hold of her again. If I can get her down maybe I'll start playing twins lol.

Hi I'm brand new to the forum, though I've been playing since ReACT FT (on and off, I'm not fantastic or anything)
I actually haven't played since a couple months after MBAC ver.B hit pc, and so now I'm playing AA on my PC through means that we won't discuss (I'm not in the mood to get banned on my first post ^_^).
I did have a question though, if anybody could answer it;
Who should I play in AA? The whole "Groove" system has thrown me for a serious loop, and the only person I was any good with (Nero) seems to be seriously nerfed, and though I read to play him F now, I just don't like it at all.
Back in AC I played Nero, Kouma, Miya, Kohaku, Mech, Warc, and Aozaki (though nothing out of launch, j.bc, j.bc, j.bc airthrow). I also failed miserably at trying to play Reverse Akiha T_T.
As for my skill level, put it this way, I consider it an acheivement to pull of 4k combos without meter (yeah I know I'm scrubby).
Well anyway, I'm open to suggestions, and hope to meet some cool players.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that I've been practicing with H V.Sion (because I read that she was high tier) but my execution with her is pretty bad, and I can only hit the ad.C airthrow at the end of her strings like half the time.
