Thanks for the great advice guys! I'll try and keep all that in mind when I play next and upload some of the results of that.

Meter usage was brought up alot... So obviously yes spend less meter. So should I be keeping it to use heat IH and so on? Or just using it up less.

Yeah... 3C is a really bad habit, Marvel has trained me so much that I always want to launch...

I'll be sure to keep in mind the block strings. They are a huge weakness on my part.

Later on I started working out how good ground dashes were against nero so I'll be sure to work them in much more, along with toning down the amount of semi random rings.

What situations are good for the command throw... I've never really been able to 'get it'

Ages later...

A small selection of matches

Now before other people catch on to some really obvious stuff
Yes I am dropping my very basic combo in the air a bit and thus doing it sub optimally... that was just stress during those matches...

So yes, comments, suggestions would be great. Sorry they are all against nero, I've had a limited selection of opponents recently

Mmmm! Thank you Rahl. Still haven't gotten it quite down but at least i know where im failing with it mostly

oh i found thus topic in my travels, how relevant are shikis tutorial vids to cc do we think? http://www.meltybread.com/forums/seifuku-akiha/f-seifuku-tutorial/
She is pretty much unchanged in this regard. BE2C is still the same as shown in his vids. Although I think the likelihood of anyone getting hit by BE2C is very low.
Practice the loop a lot on every char. The timing is different from char to char, although I'd say that every char falls into one of 4 categories of timing: Easy, Standard, Difficult, Impossible.
Not sure if it has changed in the PC release, but in PS2, 22A loops did not work on Ryougi, and Maids(Hisui lead).

So it doesn't work on the maids (Pair, Hisui lead) but it does work on normal hisui? Interesting.

And thanks Shiki I'll keep that in mind, but presently it's just a case of learning general F Sei stuff... I'm not really sure what I'd even be asking atm other than possible match feedback.

Melty Breadcast / Re: Breadcast Episode 16: Questions and Answers!

In regards to why is it 6616: It's link6616 because... Well when I made an email account when I was 12 link was taken... One of the random suggestions it gave was 6616 to append to the end, and then it just stayed...

Also great job, I enjoyed this one far more than some of the previous episodes, probably because it had more content that was more suited to me. I look forward to 17.

A few people keep saying talk about what new players should learn, but i think given how much that is being asked it would almost be better to devote an episode to that?

Im curious on thoughts of a few character and where they might stand in current code, and things to watch out for with them... obvious i want to know how to be amazing with seifuku but thats a little specific.

I would be curious to know your hopes for under night in birth aswell

also, really silly, I'd like to know how to deal with nero who is crushing my newbie self so badly.

And thats it from me

Hi, I'm link6616 from Australia and am one of the fighting game go to people in my area despite being terribly great at them. I got into melty blood around the time AA came out, and then picked it up one year later in Japan. Proceeded to find out more about type moon and Tsukihime marks the first VN I really gave a chance too.

I'm usually an aggressive rushdown sort of person, playing C Red Arc (why do people call her Warc btw), F Seifuku and F Vakira, and my key  weakness in all fighters is that I have a lot of difficulty not being aggressive, making me insanely predictable in an overall sense.

With CC coming out I decided to start really learning CC and enjoying it a lot. It's been ages since I had this much fun with a fighter.

Outside of Melty I play Touhou 7.5, SSFIVAE, ST HDR, Brawl, Melee, and BB CS, also recently picked up kofXIII but not sure how that will go...

Any beyond fighters I'm a platformer/action/JRPG kind of guy. Love a good tales of here and there but would never say no to Bayonetta, Umihara or Final Fantasy (well i did say not to SIV...). I also write and maintain http://platformsandpitfalls.net and am currently working on obtaining a few extra people to a variety of writers so my JRPG focus doesn't loom too much on the site.

I look forward to seeing a lot more of all of you!

I keep hearing this 22A loop being mentioned but I've never really seen anywhere that explains it really... Not trying to be much of newb here but briefly flicking through it I couldn't find anything that seemed to describe it clearly enough. Would someone be so kind as to describe it and/or show a clear good example?

Seifuku Akiha / F Sei vs C Nero
« on: January 12, 2012, 01:08:41 AM »
Hello. As I mentioned in the F Sei topic I've recently picked her up. Now I'm fairly new to melty blood in general having only picked up AA while in japan last January, so I'm not sure how much my problem is I'm simply not good enough vs match up stuff.... (as a point of

Anyway, enough rambling. I am really struggling getting in on Nero for the most part, usually I had to keep any meter to use 623+C or time a 623+A well to get a hit on him to approach. Occasionally a 236+A/B could get him giving me enough time to approach.

Any advice? Suggestions?

just been playing the game recently, I haven't been able to replicate it, but I've had my F-Vakiha vanish go invisible for a match...

for the exact round http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Lt6_5dNcgpE#t=16s and you could look at the lead up if you so want.

Not sure how worthwhile this is to post...

Hello. I haven't really been playing F-Sei for a while (only recently got into her on the PS2 actress again), but I'm not really sure where I should be looking to improve myself with her in CC, can I assume most of her AA BnBs etc still work, or what?
