32 player Semi-finals

All pools will begin on Friday and run throughout the day. Top 4 will qualify out for the reset 32 player semi-final bracket on Saturday. The semi-final will be run until we reach the Grand Finals, then stop. Depending on the game, the finals will either be played Saturday night or Sunday.

All pools will begin on Friday and run throughout the day. Top 2 will qualify out for the reset 16 player semi-final bracket on Saturday. The semi-final will be run until we reach the Grand Finals, then stop. Depending on the game, the finals will either be played Saturday night or Sunday.

The side games, they will be run in their entirety on Saturday.

Format will be double elimination, best 2 out of 3 for all games. Best 3 out of 5 Grand Finals.

Why would you tech backwards in a corner?
It's not about timing your attack so that you don't have to work for an easy tech punish. It is always going to be based off reaction of where they tech.
After airthrow, just wait. If they tech, you get punish, until they learn to stop teching. When they finally do, you get free Oki. It's not hard to react techs and punish with 5C, even that is more than enough for an easy tech punish.
If you got extremely good reactions, then just buffer 236 after you land, and press C if you see them tech.
Len is known for her tech punishes, that's why no one techs against her. It's also conditioning, and part of her mind games, but it's not free.

I don't think she has a catch-all no meter option, but I might be wrong.

All you really need is 5b5c. If they tech either way, 5b stays out long enough to punish both and hit confirm into 5c. If they don't tech, you get OTG into tincat. Too easy.
