There is no venue fee, but try not to break shit.

I'm going to start setting up around noon, so you're welcome to show up then for registration/casuals. The P4 Tournament will need to start at 3 PM, the rest might start between 3-5pm, try to be here by 3! Call me if you're running late or need help finding the place:

PS2, I don't have a console or disc for this - hopefully someone can bring it.


Best 2/3 in brackets. Winners finals, Loser finals, and Grand finals are all 3/5. Winner can not change characters (but can change moon[melty]), loser may change characters.

Any game with less than 8 players will have a round robin tournament with 3/5 sets. Winner is determined by set victories, and ties are considered broken by the match between the tied players.

Hope all of Georgia can make it out!

*Changes:
Venue is finalized. It's at my house. Since there's no venue fee I can't offer incentives to bring setups. But more setups = more games = more casuals!

Tournaments and Events / Mini Melty Major? Interest Check MDVA, South look here (Charlotte, NC)

So I know we have a growing community here in the south. And obv you guys MDVA play melty and enjoy the game. But it's a fucking 12 hour drive from one place to the other. The main concept of this tournament is to provide a middleground.

I've talked to one of the major TOs in NC about the idea of holding a melty tourney there as sort of a "mini melty major" -- something about 6 hours away from all of us. Anyways, I think it's a nice idea and if we could all work out a good date for everyone we could probably get a pretty good tourney going.

His next tournament is on June 23 but nothing is set in stone now as far as this goes, I just want to see if any of you would be interested in meeting half ways for some melty blood. Certainly anyone in Tennesee, Kentucky, or even Ohio players are welcome and anyone who wants to drive further too.
