Its also being played with PCSX2 where there is already plenty of graphic glitches.  Show it to me on a PS2.

2
Never mind.  I can run it in Progressive scan 4:3 and Stretch but not 16:9.  It seems strange since my display is wide screen.

3
Anyone have an idea why I can run MBAA in progressive scan windowed but not full screen.

Anyone who is getting the block characters should try an older GSdx graphics plug in.  I run PCSX2 with GSdx 890 plug in.  Tried the newer GSdx plug in and got the block characters too.  The game evens runs pretty well on my intel celeron laptop that has 1 gig of ram and intergrated graphics.

The shame is PCSX2 is a beast of an emulator.  Shame there isn't a PCSX2 version just for 2D games.  The pixel shaders would not be needed and processor speed wouldn't be such a factor.

Ok this is my first attempt to upload a zipped file.  It can only be download 10 times so good luck.  It is the GSdx 890 plugin I am using.  Just copy and past it to the plug in file in PCSX2.  I would back up your other GSdx plug in files first.

So there is no way to unlock Eclipse style for the characters?

Melty Blood Auditorium / Re: No plans for a pc port?

Find it hard to believe there wouldn't be a PC port.  I can see them saying one is not planned right now to help push sales of the PS2 version.  MBAC is still available in PC format and still sells for $60.

7
I just tried out zeros on progressive mode and it looks fantastic, I looks just like mbac pc.

Progressive scan does look good.  Especially the background they look super clear and crisp.

8
Can't find it posted any where but the MBAA web site has been updated.  System and Character links.

I know I sound like an ass but can someone who is running MBAA with PCSX2 upload a memory card file with all of the characters unlocked.  I'm having no luck with it.

Arcade mode story paths: some characters like Neco-Arc have more than one. You can tell if you're on path A if the first fight using Neco-Arc is against Kohaku & Mech Hisui.

  Ok thanks.

Ive opened S. Akiha.  That was easy.   Have not been able to unlock any of the other characters.  Beat it with Miyako and my final fight was against Neco&Mech and it showed me their picture before showing me the scenarios I have opened but they were not unlocked.  Also beat the game with Hisui and my last two fight were with Neco Arc Chaos and then Neco Arc but Neco Arc Chaos was not unlocked.  Any ideas?

Mech/Kohaku are only unlocked if you finish Neco Arc's Arcade Mode A. You won't unlock them if you finish Arcade Mode B(dunno what conditions lead to 1 or another)

What is arcade A and B??

I got rid of the lines in the sprites by turning off the texture filtering under the GSDX9 graphics plug in.  Game looks and runs PS2 perfect now except the Dust of Osiris fight like Gold13821 said.

MBAA runs on PCSX2 just fine.  Actually runs better than MBAC.  The sprites still have lines through them but the game is 100% playable at 60 frames per sec..

14
As far as I got until now:
- Ryougi Shiki - unlocked from the start
- Seifuku Akiha: beat Arcade with both Akihas(normal and Aka/Vermillion)

Dunno about the rest =(

Gonna need a wiki there is a lot to unlock.  Like Boss rush mode, i'd like to find that one   Can't believe how good this port is.

15
praying so hard the port doesn't suck like ah2
if it doesn't thank you god  :fap:
if it does  :prinny:

Fuck

I hope not :/
I mean, the trailer videos played rather smoothly(and im assuming they tested on a PS2). And the specials aren't THAT extravagant to cause rapesauce slow down

There were location tests for this game.  I'm sure if there were problems it would have been heard about by now.  Although I haven't seen one video of a location test or one review from one.

I Can run AH2 and MBAC at full speed on my Centrino 2 laptop.   It only has 1 gig of Ram and Intel integrated graphics.   Both games have different settings.  AH2 runs with no speed hacks and the frames limited.  MBAC runs with X2 speed hack and the frames limited.  AH2 the sprites look normal (as normal as they get on the PS2) and MBAC sprites have lines through them.   But both games are very playable.

Characters page updated with Akiha [Seifuku], Neko Arc Chaos, Neko + Mech and Koha + Mech.

  Nice find.
This game is a Melty Blood fans wet dream.  I CAN'T wait

The extra characters in the PS2 release I'm sure are there to get people to buy the game.  If they didn't add anything to the game people may have waited for the PC release.

The topics screen for MBAA web site has been updated.  Any translations?

This is the pad I use.  I've had if for over a year and for the price you can't beat it.

OK Thanks.  Makes me wish MBAA was coming out of a next gen console instead of the PS2 so we could get better online play.

Ciel's Tech Support / [Solved] Caster Question
« on: June 01, 2009, 10:41:21 AM »
So with Caster I can only connect P2P with a specific IP address/person.  There are no servers to connect to and find people to play?

PCSX2 plays about any 2d game flawlessly if your pc meets the ridiculously high requirements.
Nulldcnaomi plays mbac with some graphical problems (the screen flashes white each time somebody gets hit) so it should play mbaa as well.

Yeah.  To run PCSX2 you need at least a dual core processor and a video card that supports pix shader 2.0.  Also when someone says the game is playable it doesn't mean it plays at a full 60fps.  PCSX2 is an amazing feat of programing but far from perfect.  So it you buy a copy of MBAA you maybe able to play it on your PC.

I was not talking about PCSX2 but SwapMagic.

I think Swapmagic is how most of us are able to play import games on our US consoles.  I wouldn't call it an emulator just a disc that tricks your PS2 in to disregarding it region coding.

23
MBAA still runs of a NAOMI board so I'm not worried.  AH2 runs on a board with a gig of RAM.  PS2 can't handle that without some quality programing and apparently there was none.

Melty Blood Auditorium / Downloadable PDF of move list for MBAA?
« on: April 19, 2009, 12:08:11 PM »
Anyone know where I can find one?  Most games have the PDF file on their web site.  MBAA only has Neco Arc.

25
The web site is up.  Don't know if it was posted yet.

And on the links page. MBAC for windows is the second link.  So they must still have faith in PC ports of their games.  God knows its still selling for $60.
