Hisui / H-Hisui Experimentation
« on: September 07, 2009, 02:20:36 PM »
Sure, C-Hisui is hype, but where is the stool pressure love?  :emo:

Welp, I thought that someone should get an H-moon thread of Hisui started, so how about it? Really, I haven't been focused on anything too specific on her normals and specials. Share your thoughts and inputs so we can add to or subtract from this.  Hopefully I'm not the only H-Hisui player out there. :slowpoke:

Some basic bnbs I'm using:

2aa 5b 2b 2c 5c 6cc - This does 3k. It is a simple combo for an oki setup. This can also be used for an otg string in the corner. I use 2aa 5b 236a 22a/22c oki for an otg combo. You probably shouldn't use this shyt too often  :slowpoke:

2aa 5b 2b 2c 5c 6c j.bc j.bc AT [or j.c j.bc AT] - This does 4.3K and sets up a tech punish [j.c j.bc AT does 4.1K]. If one does not tech, then I usually throw out a stool oki.

5a6aa 2c(slightly delayed) 5c 6c j.bc j.bc AT [or j.c j.bc AT] - This does 4.5k [j.c j.bc AT does 4.3K]. 2c is delayed, but not too much. 5c should hit three times. Again, go for a tech punish or a stool oki if one does not tech.

5b 5c5a6aa 2c(slightly delayed) 5c 6c j.bc j.bc AT - This does 4.7K. 5c should cancel into 5a and hit only once.

2a 2b/5b 5c5a(whiff)6aa 2c(slightly delayed) 5a(whiff)6aa 6c j.c j.bc AT - This does 4.5K. 5a does not hit in this string, but it is a whiff cancel.

In the corner...

2a 5b 2b 2c 5c 6b j.[c]b land j.abc j.bc AT - This does 4.7K. Use 9 for every jump in this string~ Also, the first j.b needs to be connected fairly low to the ground for the rejump. The timing is not too tough.

That's it from just a few hours of playing around with her.  :psyduck:

You guys are wonderful. Thanks and +Heat.

Do you mind posting all of Miyako's, Kohaku's, Tatari Sion's, and the Maids' images once you get the time, please? I would really appreciate it.

Master Pogi I try to create some space, SGMBAC3 is totally full and i actually created SGMBAC4 and it is now full again. I try to test around what other names I can create again for more active people to go in. In the mean time I will head over to your channel and pop my head around   :slowpoke:

Btw where are you from ? If u are not comfortable telling me is okay =)

No problem at all, thanks for considering it. I'm in the US, but I made that channel for the few SEA players that made their way into US channels lately. I wanted to ensure that these players could get better games if they all joined a channel for their area. Ten delay games are just unplayable.  :emo:

Since it works now, what exactly was the problem? I am now a bit confused~

Thank you very much real!! The problem was that my stats were not displaying on the site after I let CasterStats record my statistics for the first time. I think that I maybe didn't press Enter after wards when the program ran the info (as real stated in my PM). He uploaded the stats for me and they worked. It was something on my end. Thanks again.

I seem to be having a problem. The name "Master Pogi" is exactly as I spelled it in the mbcaster_config (including the space) and it is spelled the same way here. So, I let the CasterStats do its thing, and it recorded my stats perfectly. For some odd reason though, my stats do not appear on the site. I'm thinking it has something to do with the space in my name. And help would be appreciated.  :slowpoke: I am running Windows XP and my sessionlog can be found here

High Quality Blazblue Music Mix!
http://www.zomgupload.com/le2f5ksinpyj.html

Something you need to know about this tho, you must have BlueShirt's music tool working properly in order to use this. Also, make sure all of your character/character select/winner songs have a loop value of 0 so you can listen to the whole song in game.

Enjoy!
And here's my latest, greatest masterpiece.  A mix featuring tracks from the KOF game we all love to hate.
KOF MAXIMUM IMPACT 2
"KOF is going to 3d? I don't know what you're talking about!" (Arms rip off)

http://www.justnopoint.com/lbends/miscstuff/KOFMI2MIX.zip

No track list because I don't have the original tracks names at all  :'(
A few things about this mix:
1. ONLY music from KOFMI2 is featured.
2. Some tracks are wedged in there pretty forcefully, due to having limited resources.  The soundtrack has a lot more heavy drum beat tribal music tracks than I would have liked.
3. I replaced Arc's theme with the theme of GEESU (fuck yeah)
4. The only track I had left that was unused went into the Neon Street stage.  Listen to it and go kill yourself shortly after.

I love you guys. Good shit.

Melty Blood Auditorium / Re: Character name abbreviations?
« on: February 11, 2009, 04:17:19 PM »
I always thought of it as Warakia Arcueid since she does share some similarities (personality-wise with Wara).

Now, this next part is based SOLELY on the text and info from the Melty Blood fighting games. I've only played Tsukihime for about 10 minutes and I have no read the manga or watched the anime, so bare with me if I'm wrong (there are probably more correct answers than this one), but this is what I have observed concerning the games and the names...

Come to think of it, way back in Melty Blood ReACT she never had an official name. She was just another form of Arc and was called Arcueid Brunestud along with the original Arc in the Chara Select screen (and on the VS screen too). When the English patch came out her replay data abbreviated her as simply Warc in MBR (maybe because of something said in the game of Tsukihime and/or the manga of Tsukihime). When Act Cadenza came out Type-Moon officially differentiated her as Red Arcueid. So if you ask me, it goes way back to the original Melty Blood, Melty Blood ReACT, and most likely something in the depths of Tsukihime, and also the fact that these three games have been translated and played by many WAAAAAY before MBAC officially gave these characters some individuality (name-wise). So, I think Warc just caught on and became more popular than Red Arcueid because of that previous fact. I mean, Warcueid sounds badass right?  >:D

Same with V.Sion, and the fact that MBAC PS2 was released well before MBR was translated. In MBR she was just called Sion Eltnam Atlasia in a vampire form before the patch. In the English translation she was called V.Sion in the replay data (because of the reference from MBAC PS2 calling her V.Sion in the options menu I suppose). The name thing is the same with Akiha Tohno and Akiha Vermilion too if I'm not mistaken. Sion TATARI was V.Sion's official name in MBAC PS2 on the character select screen, and in the VS screen, but in the options menu she was called V.Sion. I guess V.Sion sounded cooler amongst fans and the fact that it could have been referenced in Tsukihime too (it most likely did). Warc was called Red Arcueid throughout the game (MBAC PS2) and in MBAC PC, but many just call her Warc.

I think I got it all down for you and put some pieces to the puzzle together, but my explanation could have been a bit stronger if I had any knowledge of the actual story before the fighting games.  :blah: In my opinion, Bousou Arc sounds nice too. Whatever floats your boat.   :prinny:

Really? I thought it was called being rusty. It's what happens when you don't play for a while then start playing again.

QFT. I was just rusty today because I haven't played in about 4 days. I lost to a dayum n00b and I felt like going into my emo corner.  :emo: But I picked it back and continued to be pwnsome after a few warm-ups and such. Either that or you could just possibly suck at the game. But of course it doesn't seem like you do.  :prinny: Pick it up a lil bit. That's all.  :teach:

If only there was an ending CG of VAkiha in blood. Now that'd definitely be  :fap:

I wish they'd at least put the blood back on certain moves.
Nanaya LA isn't as dramatic as it was back in say ReACT or VerA...
Kyokushi---Nanaya! Blood
Kyokushi---Nanaya! Blue Flash

At least the "Nanaya" part in AA is more angry sounding.

You saw his MBAA LA? YOU MUST TELL POGI WHERE YOU SAW IT.

Why not the X360?  :P

Hey, that works too.  ;D Most 360 games now are not region locked so I'm all for any release at this point.  :prinny: Just give me the one that comes first whether it be the console (assuming it's not the Wii) or the PC. Oh and FOR THE LOVE OF WHICHEVER GOD YOU BELIEVE IN TYPE-MOON DON'T GO NINTENDO WII ON ME!!
