So there is no hint of a console release, and they are now announcing the release of a PC port. However, this PC port has been announced in a very unsung manner as being an add-on to an anime DVD.

It is not really that odd for a game to come packaged with an anime DVD, but for the anime to actually be the one with top billing is kind of... Interesting.

With the game only available on PC, the implications for event organization goes without saying. Also, the bundle is what, $116?

All this in mind, I only have ONE QUESTION to ask:

... When can I reserve my copy?

My car is currently dead so I won't be able to drop anyone off at the bus stop, but as long as the weather doesn't xcopy last weekend it's not that bad of a walk.

NY, NJ, Philly, everyone I was hanging with...: Dammit way too many peeps to shout out, don't want to continue because I will definitely miss out on a few and they might sadface which will make me sadface harder . <3 To everyone I hung with! I don't give a crap that my drive home took 8 hours, so long as I could hang with everyone for a weekend it was totally worth it! (BTW, I REALLY wanted to stick around for casuals on Sunday, but I had class Monday morning so I unfortunately had to leave after the tourney at like 4:30. Still didn't get home until about midnight, but oh well.)

Never been to BBG. If they have a finale I'll definitely go.

That said, On Blast apparently went very well and is something that can be done whenever regardless of weather. I'm totally down with driving down to NY for it, and I won't have to worry about some random BS ruining the tourney.
