Also, based on VietGeek's pic, do you think the stick's mounted too high?

Measure. HORI sets the height to about 23.5 mm, and Madcatz about 22.5 mm. If your height is wildly different then you probably need to adjust the stick.

Sorry to derail further, but if you really prefer the bracket notation (as I do), you can always use the [nobbc] tag.

Code: [Select]
[nobbc]236[B][/nobbc]
As in:

236[B]

(keeping everything in context)

Indeed, holding your stick at a downward angle can cause the joystick to flick instead of going straight to neutral. You want to keep it relatively level while playing.

Looks like Joy Tron is a Korean company, maybe the parts are Korean too. Those pushbuttons don't look like your typical Japanese Sanwa or Seimitsu parts. The joystick on the otherhand, looks identical to a Sanwa JLF.

Also, from the way you describe it, it sounds like you use the same hand position as desk. If it works for him, it should work for you.

I wonder when they'll fix the netplay..

If by they you mean FB/Ecole, that's a good question. The netplay might not seem broken to them, considering Japan's infrastructure. If netplay from other non-GGPO/rollback based fighters is any indication, they can slide by with crappy netcode as long as their internet is fast enough.

These prices are typical of what you'll pay elsewhere.

Okay, I'm getting back into Melty from the ReACT days, and I've spent the entire weekend listening to all the breadcasts from Ep #1 on.

I'm going to have disagree with basically all of the requests for more announcer hype. One of the things I like best about this podcast is that Chibi, Mizuki, Fox, et al. keep things mellow and laid back throughout the show. I never got the impression you guys don't give a shit. Artificially injecting hype isn't going to help a damn thing.

Bro'n it up is fine, but not everyone wants listen to podcasts full of immature guys yelling at each other and telling dick jokes. As someone who was born in the '80s, this is one of the few fighting game podcasts I can actually listen to without going nuts.

Keep it real guys. ;^)

Q. Does East Coast still have a stronger Melty scene than West Coast?

Q. A few weeks after picking up Melty, I got fired from my job. Is there a correlation between time spent mashing and time spent collecting unemployment?
