Guess I could link it. No idea if this is against the rules?

Eh, I should edit in that it's not subbed.

Yeah, that. My listing is up now, went with $250.  :mystery:

About to list my copy for sale. All I'm seeing on eBay is a used set from Japan at $400, lol. I'm not sure it's worth quite that much, but I have no idea what price range it actually would be. It's all in great shape except for Melty's clear plastic slip case being damaged.

Any ideas? I hate to let it go, but I've been laid off since January so... =/

Teams first is the best way to do it imo. In my experience, the other way around, folks wander off or lose interest after singles. Teams usually are fun/hype exp and can work well to build up to the main event. Otherwise, "teams if we have time" usually means teams doesn't happen.

I may be going, not sure yet. If a group from NC is heading up, it's pretty likely.

It's time! Hope some of you make it.

6
yo Tim, yeah we still play, but no one posts here anymore. We're mostly just on homingcancel and Facebook groups.

7
I'll be there. Also would play some AH, AP, Koihime.

8
Hahaha...Rob told me people were posting here now, and it's just James from when we had the tournament XD

So yeah, PacStrife has my copy now. The only thing I want to do in the game atm is figure out what to do as an air throw combo. Everything else seems mostly the same from AA.

edit: oh and Ries in UNIB plox

Repost from HC:

I just put in an order for a legit copy of Current Code. Anybody in the scene that wants to throw in some $ to cover some of the cost would be welcome but not expected. If we're going to host actual events at venues, going to want to have real copies.

I also wouldn't mind lending the game to anyone who helps with the cost etc.

This is great. I will definitely show my support.

I haven't even played CC yet, but I just bought it today and my copy should be around soon. We can use it for the tourney if necessary.

Brandon's bringing a dedicated Melty setup. There'll be some of everything at this.

Games again, Saturday at 4.

14
yo you should have put AH in instead of letting the PS2 sit on the training mode pause menu in MBAA ;p

I forgot about it, honestly...I don't even know who put in GG.

Sam says he's going if his folks buy him the ticket for Christmas. He'll apparently be staying with Elvenshadow though...which means I would need to get a hotel room for myself.

 :mystery:

I'd like at least an NEC-sized group if I go, though. It'll likely cost a bit more than the last trip. It's also kinda crappy how it's so soon after the holidays. But yeah I'm trying to recruit some guys.

19
I'm going to try making this. Might be by myself tho lol

It wouldn't be too difficult for someone coming to Raleigh gatherings to pick you up, that's how mostly everyone else has to do it. I've never driven in my life and I'm one of the most active players in the state.

I mean, there is some Melty here, and that's more than you can say for most of the country. If you just want to play MBAC online, then that's cool, but your reason for doing that shouldn't be because there's no comp. I mean shit, you could probably use the bus system to get to my apartment.

He was posting on DL about GG/SSF4 too though, and he lives in Raleigh...finding games in general isn't so hard, and me/Doug meet up like once every two weeks and have been playing Melty. Kris wants to do something in Raleigh tomorrow and I'm thinking about hosting a bigger gathering next Friday.

Lucky's will have Guilty/Super aplenty, of course.

I was thinking he was strictly talking about getting into the MB scene.

If that's the case, then I can see the difficulty, since it's hard to get into a scene that doesn't exist!

What's going on in this thread you ask?

I really don't see Marvel 3 being that big though.
