I think the anime failed so badly because it basically failed to actually include what was awesome about the VN. Arc fans aside, I think the far-moon routes were much better and enjoyable, and in the anime, there is almost no mention of anything related to that. Also, Tsukihime was in many ways a psychological thriller, and you can't get any of that in the anime.

I actually joined quite a while ago, but was lurking

I play melty pretty casually with a group of friends in the west coast.

My main hobby is just drawing. Maybe I'll post something up later?

Hey, I've been playing melty blood for a while now, and I was wondering if there are any 2d fighters with a system like melty blood? I really like the freeform combos and the jumping around in aerial battles. Most of the fighters I've played seem to have like set combos (especially tekken... I played it like three times and I couldn't stand it) and an entirely grounded game (ie you jump, you get punished like hell). Can you guys suggest any games that are similar in systems?
