I didn't cheat at pofv I just played way more defensively!!
using charge to reduce how often I have to do risky dodges and reserving them instead of going for boss attacks. ;;
I was told to do this by someone on irc the night before and I didn't play the game to practice before either so, lol. I even told other people this same strat while the tourney was still going on! but they didn't listen!

UPDATE: REVISED FOOD LIST BECAUSE I DISCOVERED AN ASIAN MARKET NEARBY. also this is alcohol list now too.
since I am not having most of this myself, just some sake and scotch, and it is mostly for AM3 attendees, donations/contributions will be appreciated.

items available from jp market:
natto (a BUNCH! - Lokanas will be making natto udon)
melon and/or curry pan (1 of each is fine)

event sharing list:
wakatake onikoroshi (sake) - Spidey will be picking this up from jp market
lagavulin 16 (scotch) - I will get this locally from Bevmo

other request list:
unknown vodka by request of OBaloney
creme de menthe by request of Lokanas
beer

donation list:
jack and juices to mix with vodka from Spidey

a bit of a request for out of towners coming from a less out of the way area...

if you're from LA/OC, if possible due to local Asian market availability, please bring some of these items!
I would be very grateful and would compensate for cost and time with money/drinks ;;

items available from jp market:
natto (a BUNCH! - Lokanas will be making natto udon)
melon and/or curry pan ;~;
spicy miso (awesome condiment?)
onikoroshi sake (2 bottles - it's good and cheap, and for sharing at the event :X)

items available from cn market:
wei chen dumplings (bell likes this specific brand)
Chinese onion soup rice noodle (mi fan?) box
bottle of fried red shallots
can of saa chaa sauce (sp? - it's a silver can)

Like I said I'm taking the couch, rooming can be given to out-of-towners. Couch + blanket + pillow = a good nights rest 

Man I don't have a sleeping bag...don't tell me I'm gonna have to purchase one....argh! lol

Also, we should all prob bring some sort of food, either ready made (as already mentioned above), or something to throw on the BBQ etc. Let us know if thats how its going to work. Hmm you have adequate bathrooms for a bunch of full dudes right? Its going to be interesting..maybe need to invest in a front yard port-a-toilet or something 

plz use downstairs bathroom I don't want man smell permeating mine
