I'm not 100% sure how it went after that. I gave dippy the bracket to assist him with properly labeling the videos.
Recap:
It was a rough bracket for some. Sp00ky vs Heartnana, and Zar the Biscuit vs Zaelar were both played in the first round. Sp00ky and myself fought through losers to attain our ranks, both of us getting eliminated by Zar. In winners semi-finals, Heartnana sent Dippy to losers, and Xaq sent Zar to losers. Xaq sends Heartnana to losers in winners finals. In the losers bracket, Sp00ky eliminates Dippy, and Zar eliminates Zaelar leaving them with fifth. Zar defeats Sp00ky for fourth, and Heartnana defeats Zar leaving him with third and finally Xaq defeats Heartnana in grand finals, which Heartnana made go to the second set.

Any move in any fighter(ok so there's a few exceptions) gets canceled on landing. It's not a kara cancel. Doesn't always remove your recovery frames though.

I got my living room reserved, this Saturday it's on! I'd like to keep it under 10 people, but if it does go a little over it isn't too bad. I'll need someone to bring a ps2 or two though. I'll run a tournament if there is a demand. A few people can sleep on the floor if needed.
For food theres a Boston Market, Subway, and a diner in walking distance. We can order chineese/pizza, and fast food burger places are available in a short drive.
PM me if you want an invitation, and I'll reply with my address. And don't show up with 4 random people when you only said you were bringing yourself and one other. Also say what you can bring(TV and/or ps2+melty). Keep in mind you'll have to carry your TV up stairs, so don't show up with a 50 inch.
My house is easily accessed by bus from port authority NY. For potential drivers its in Bergen county NJ, not too far from the old game dimension tournaments that were run a while back.

My room can only fit 4 people max, including me, and thats pushing it. If its any more I'll have to annex the family room for the day, which probably won't be a problem. It couldn't be anything too big though.
