Are there any plans for AI this Friday to correspond with the GG ranbats going on?

Ill prolly go there out of habit or something. brush up on my Magical Drop'ness. Clothgirl ftw!!

(kinda wish that the game was JP Region instead of american. American reigon is so dull and lacks character -,-)

oh yeah.. and uhh.. melty if anyone wants to xD

Good games everyone who came to WT8.  For me, it happened to become the night of the rematches against various players.  Quite entertaining, and lots of hype. haha

Jaxx - It was great seeing you come down from AZ to see us again.  It was awesome seeing you again.  Also thanks for cheering me on throughout the night.  Keep that Nero up, man

Envii - Those EX Throws sorta gave me a bit of a scare. Made me think twice about staying on the ground.  Keep up that Kouma, and keep that Miyako just cuz =P

Psyplade - Me against you on as my first tournament match of the day @.@. Lol. Its too bad that you had to leave in the middle of it all.  I hope we can have our rematch again.

Tsubasa - You beat me on casuals, i beat you on tournie.  We're even. Lol. It was fun getting another rematch together. We even got the same stage on the 2nd match.  haha.  It was great seeing you again, one Hisui player to another. ;D

Scott - I told ya i can shield the whole set of knives in a real match! lol.  It's also funny how we get rematched with each other yet again in the tourny.

Leo - It was great facing your Satsuki again after a long period of.. uhh.. not playing it ;P This would also happen to be our 3rd rematch in a tourny.

Linalys - The utter feeling of defeat. haha. Sorry for the break down. The match became a bit of a "pride match" for me, being that it was a Mirror match an all.  You got me good in the end though in the end. I guess that makes us 2/2 in tourneys. Grats on getting 3rd. You deserved it. :toot:

HDPwnz and Sanchez - Remember, I'm the Color 18 - Sephia/Old Timey Hisui.  ;D  Cant wait to hear your commentary.

Everyone else who i missed, Good games. Great hype.  Hope everyone got home safely.  Cant wait to face ya'll again.

Akiha Vermillion / Re: Hisui as lead?

The main problem of using this version is finding ways to use Kohaku as an assist due to Hisui's painfully long call out animation.  One particular method use is to replace the 6C frying pan launcher during a combo for a 6B Satchel Launcher then throw a Kohaku assist.  That way, Hisui's call out animation will be covered (usually).  As for follow ups these options can work (from my experience anyways.)

*After a 214-A: Find coverage within the area of the plant and lure them to attack so the plant will hit them.
*After a 214-B: Throw a bento out following the assist since the moltov cocktail covers the bento animation.
*If the opponent happens to be air blocking either the spinning plant or the moltov cocktail, a guard crush is possible (theorically).

These methods are based on my experience with playing HisuKoha.  I usually use this version of Hisui as a breath of fresh air from using Hisui by herself.  Plus there is nothing more fun then placing lots of random crap all over the screen to piss off the opponent. ;D

As for 236C on the ground, I do 5A 5B and combo from there usually.

I like using 2B 6C after a ground 236C then to an air combo.  Slight frame disadvantage from any A move but i like the sound of the frying pan.  :P

... what is the best combo to use after landing the 236 ex on the ground if the opponent does not tech at the end?

You can actually continue the combo after the last hit of the 236 EX, though the timing is pretty strict. The key is hitting them right before they hit the ground.

Is there a practical use of her 236 ex in the air? Also what is the best combo to use after landing the 236 ex on the ground if the opponent does not tech at the end?

The 236 EX has some of its merits.
-It has an invincible frame at start up.
-It brings you down to the ground quickly.
-The hit box is largely diagonal down.
-Because of its multi hit property, this move requires multiple shielding to shield successfully.
-Quick recovery when you touch the ground with this move.

It is possible to do a combo off of a 236 EX if you happen to land it on the opponent.  Note that the EX version will carry a grounded opponent off the ground.

Basically it is j236C-5B-6C-jC-jC-Throw.  Nothing too fancy but it is to the point.

I made 2 examples showing this and plopped them down in the Melty Bread FTP site. Visit this topic for access the FTP site.

I say we get all the best Hisui players together and have a Hisui Deathmatch.

Winner gets a chair.... and... an exploding bento.

Edit: ... and maybe a Vase

Edit: Oh yeah Numakie did chairs and bentos vs me now that I rewatch the vid.  It was totally a good call, Shion got pwned by them.  See 22:22.

Hehe. You got me real good the first time you sent me to losers. Gotta keep in mind that Sion's kick beats table.  :psyduck:  That shiz is no fair. lol.

Great matches btw. We both got each other good.

Actually.. if i think about it... my Hisui is kinda borrowed from Satsuki.  That could explain why I play as I do.

I understand some of my flaws. I luv my tables and random jBB's and i need to set up more bento's/chairs in the field.  I also need to work on some of my ground pressure game.

and yeah... ugh.. wasting my time again.. need to work @.@
