Just continue to be a faggot and play C-Satsuki; you'll get free combo into free combo provided you can hit your opponent once in neutral, all without ever having to do any human interaction past baiting heat from crescent opponents.

Remove Satsuki already, fucking French Bread :emo:

I hate Satsuki's 5A, j.A, 5B and 2C more then her mix-ups though '3'

It's a totally different game, you can't even compare. MBAA PS2 was a shitty port and a bad game (if you compare to other MB's). MBAA to MBAACC = tons of pages of change (log), like, I didn't even want to read it all since there were so many, and I'm the kind of guy who likes to read. The game improved so much. Then from MBAACC to MBAACC 1.05 was an even bigger update then MBAA -> MBAACC... OTG relaunches came back, speed, things became looking like MB Re-Act, again tons of pages of changes. Then 1.05 to 1.07 was not a huge update like the others, but still changed lots of things (more then SFIV changes from one version to other).

Probably the game will feel the same if someone never played it, but the difference is huge. If you want to learn MB by MBAA PS2, just forget it. If you'll play an outdated version at least play the classic MBAC. If you really want to know the changes search for them like that MBAA -> MBAACC, MBAACC -> MBAACC 1.05, MBAACC 1.05 > MBAACC 1.07.

For anyone that doesn't know, all of the nicovideo matches from when MeltyBread stopped 'till now have been uploaded to the KWM youtube channel and added to the database. We now have over 10,000 matches in meltyDB.

So looks like we have almost all of the JP 1.07 matches in there, I'll try to keep everything as up to date as I can. In the meantime there will be some smaller stuff coming up. Something like win rates, searching by win/lose, recommendation system, and character pages way in the future? Would probably be good to redesign the site a bit too.

Lobby system would be hellasweet, can't even imagine how sweet would it be.

When the delay is too high, is it suppose to disconnect? I tried to play a player from Korea just to test, we got delay 11, but it would always disconnect in the first moment. We would probably only play one match for fun anyway.

the basic.

1. take care on neutral and play safe: don't get angry lol, I think that's necessary to say. try to see what normals work better for you on neutral against him. for me is j.C.
2. try knock him down somehow, so you can gain momentum, his hitbox is big and Arc is awesome, so make sure to have a lot of good options to use in that time so he wont ever escape in that round.
3. did he escape? repeat 1.

and of course, MeltyDB is there to help you.

I've been without internet for a while now (now it's finally back! x.x) and I have to say: this caster is godlike. I could even play a guy from Bahia (the land of BR Carnival) in delay 4, when we used to have delay 7 in MBAC MB Caster. Of course it can improve, but I say this is the best netplay Melty Blood ever had. Thank you so much Mad Sci!!! You and goddamnpete are heroes. I wish someday I can contribute with something notable too.

Side events were awesome last year, it even had it's own stream channel =o

Geez, he translated it to us. If it is convenient for you to use it or not the way it is is up to you guys. Thank you so much webgori for translating it to english o>. You're doing a great work with the Korean MB scene. I hope we can get play offline someday.

I'm not good with programming/negotiating, so I can't do that part. The responsible for that part just have to keep the forum updated, so everybody can opine until we're all happy with the conditions. Anyone step forward?

Any ideas for someone who'll gather the money? If no ideas I'd like to suggest Inso since he's the treasurer of the MB BR community already, it's not like it's a really important issue, is it? Maybe it's better to choose someone who lives closer to the programmer we'll pay though, since the taxes will probably be lower.

HTS got rollcaster these days and some friends who play here in Brazil are playing with guys from US in delay 4. Delay 4 is 1 more then I have usually against pretty much everybody inside Brazil in MB. We need that too and I'm almost sure we can raise the money... So Roku could finally have his netplay revenge on me (or not :V).

117
Doesn't anyone have $5300 at hand?
This reminds me of better netcode. Wasnt there a guy who said he could do it? We only need someone to be responsible for the money and start donating until we have enough...

(C Sion)

I don't know if it's a new technology or not, but I found out delaying the airdash in the j.[C] combos in the corner can bring amazing results getting the opponent lower. I think it's possible to do 10 j.[C] in the corner with only 200%. If everything works out I'll be posting here later.

I'm giving myself a test, if I can do more then 9k in standing v.akiha with C Sion with 5B starters and not using more then 200% I might return to her if I can do the combos consistently.

There is, but I don't know it's name or have it because I always played the keyboard standard :(... Someone here must know. But why are you playing an older version? I think MBAC is the best MB so far, but still...

Didn't know. Seems awesome.

It's not that easy. Also it just makes it look cooler, would be hype seeing a shielded spark happen in that combo. If anyone really have a problem they should play her, I'm yet to see a v.akiha win a big high level competition...

Akiha's Tea Room / Re: Fastes game characters?

Sparked again see, she always get close. 6~8k is not that much. It's easy to do 8k in v.akiha, so I think it's fair if she can do it too sometimes. Also I think that confirm is one of the best possible (starter AND position).

I mean, look at what H Arc can do to her with a simple high confirm: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvRDqBcgYyE

And I didn't even go for fancy damaging variations like this ones: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tGamx9wts8

8k + oki with a simple confirm. Many other chars can do that too. Poor V.Akiha gets no oki and has to work much harder to confirm that variation.

Akiha's Tea Room / Re: Fastes game characters?

If there is a gap, get hit in the air, recover. She would be throwing out her momentum for nothing.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I never seen a variation where you don't get close to her. This is the best I've seen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYC0smxZyo0#t=727s . Not much damage, lost momentum (and consequently the match).

Akiha's Tea Room / Re: Fastes game characters?
« on: February 04, 2013, 12:24:53 PM »
I think it's dumb to ban such cool things. Also I don't think there is a true infinite blockstring, is there? Her infinite combo = just spark out of it and your opponent loses the momentum IF he can do it, he'll probably miss anyway. I think people don't do it on tournaments because they want to win, so they play simple.
