I would bring up a TV, but I was planning on taking the train up  :nyoro: unless someone else from around Philly was going to drive up that I could catch a ride with

232
I think you just like greasy sticks
Isn't that what this community is about?  :psyduck:

Depends on exactly where you're coming from.
Its right next to the Glenside Train Station, so if you're coming from the regional rail its easy.
if you're taking the bus, you've got buses running down both roads that its on the corner of.
Driving? Honestly google maps is your best bet.

I just noticed the godhand quote in yoru signature yui, good shit.  :fap:
Now I just need to think up a good name for the event and work out the GRAFIX for the streams page (for the love of god, if you're good with photoshop help me  :toot:)

How do you guys feel about starting events weekend after this upcoming one (the 19th)? I hate to give people no notice (and i haven't played the game in quite some time and need to pick it back up :nyoro:)
If we have enough interest I'd be more than happy to run a (streamed) tournament. Can I get eight people that would show up to run a tournament?

No sweet name for the event yet (but then again, am I ever going to have another stroke of genius like Sugoibats?).

Holy shit people responded.
Anyones welcome, I can't say I'm any good at the game, and I haven't practiced in ages, but anyones welcome.
Help me set up a weekend (can't be the 26th) and I'll get a stream and everything going.  :toot:
Now that i think about it, would it make sense to run Arcana and Melty stuff on the same day? I feel like both of the communities share members, so I could run two events at a time  :nyoro:
<edit two> I also think its funny that I get a more positive response from the Melty community than I do from the BlazBlue community. DL has like three posters in the philly thread

Wow such a populated area is all shoved into one thread?  :nyoro:
I kinda feel bad because I don't really check out here all that often, but I really like this game I swear.

Anyone in or around Philly-
I meant to extend this earlier, but things have been really hectic organizing everything, getting everything ready, marvel 3 release, winter brawl, and me being sick as fuck. I've got a venue for you guys! :toot: :toot:

When: Every Saturday Night!
Where:111 South Easton Road, Glenside PA 19038 (You have buses running down Easton Rd as well as East Glenside Ave, also the Glenside train station across the street!)
We've got six monitors running (All Asus monitors, 2ms so no one can bitch) Middle two can run off component video (I've got a PS2 component cable I keep with me) so PS2 is a go (I'll even bring my copy of AA). I'd be down for running monthly tournaments/ranbats (I can even stream) if you guys can get me enough players. Anyone interested?

I'm happy to see you guys stepping up and doing this tutorial. I have one suggestion.
Please make the font legible. (I hate to rag on him, because otherwise he did a great job but) Tiggy made a Miyako tutorial and the font is illegible at parts because of the colouring.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ye3KVgI1LvU&fmt=35 is an interesting idea, it's a tutorial made to help street fighter players get into KOF, really well thought out, really well executed. Not saying you guys have to do exactly this, but he's an example of a tutorial done right  :teach:

Either way, keep up the good work guys, can't wait to be able to show this tutorial to people and teach them some melty.
