To tell you the truth, for the brief period of time where I tried playing BB, the backgrounds actually really bothered me. They're really too vibrant. It's hard to see what's going on sometimes with all of that flair.

Friday, arrive at Greyhound terminal in philly at 6:50 pm
Monday, leave at 6:40 am in the morning from 30th street station megabus

$100+ before shipping is bad enough as is, but I watched some carnival phantasm preview or something and kinda wanted to throw up.  I love me some melty blood, but I sure as hell don't want some barftown fanservice anime in my house.

Anyway, getting to the important part: since there is almost no chance of a stateside release (and if it happens it won't be for a while) and the built-in netplay won't be accessible without paying $100+, there is no chance of having an actual US scene without caster.  Sorry, the small handful of people that will go out and buy the game are not going to constitute a scene.

They'll release the game alone eventually. It's not like you can't get it if you don't want to shell out the $100.

You could always try to sell CP online to offset the cost. Someone out there might want CP without the game.

I purchased my MBAA from Mr. Wizard so IDK if that counts but that's the only thing I have from them so I'm good but they release products I'm satisfied with so I'll support them too. Also I'll probably be selling the anime part as well since I really don't care about it TBH.

That's the guy who runs EVO? Didn't he get those for free from Ecole?

After thinking about it some more, I think it definitely definitely makes sense to buy the whole package. It's not like this is just about MBAACC and Carnival Phantasm.

I stole Tsukihime. I stole Fate/Stay Night. I stole the Tsukihime anime. I stole the Fate/Stay Night anime. I stole Kara no Kyoukai. I stole MBAC. I stole MBAA.

I think I can afford to at least pay $100 to support Type-moon (and Frenchbread/Ecole) for providing me with so much awesome shit.

So stop bitching and bite the bullet. You know they deserve it.

I think it makes the most sense to do it by region. For example, figure out everyone in NY/NJ/PA/CT/MA who wants in. Pick someone trustworthy to handle the cash money. Someone like Ehrik comes to mind. And then just divide up the total cost and use Paypal to give him the money.

Nice thing about doing it by region would be that you could have an event after it ships and everyone can just pick one up rather than going through the trouble of reshipping it.


But I guess it really depends on how much the shipping actually is though. It may not be worth the hassle.
It may make more sense to do smaller groups... like me, Pincher, Chibi, and Zaelar for example. (Bergen County Represent! )

I think the Monday one makes more sense unless we don't want to stick around on Sunday. We'd have to leave pretty early to make 1 P.M.

If you take the Monday one back we can just leave whenever we feel like it on Sunday. I'm guessing you could just sleep / hang out at Jimmy's place and he could drop you off at the appropriate time.

Doesn't matter for me though. Final call is really on when Jimmy feels like driving.
