Ah well, always worth checking at least, thanks for the responses. Guess I'll have to go back to my original plan of getting to San Fran and building my own scene once I get back to NorCal. Two months without a human player...  

Norcal already has a scene, you need to wait until cc2 potentially gets a port before anyone is going to play melty again.

NorCal does have a scene, but it'd be a 2 hour drive with me still not having a car. Might as well try to build my own in order to cut down on travel costs. Here's to hoping that the port lands for PS3/360 and we at least get netplay.

Besides, I'm impatient and want opponents now, damnit. I'll do my best to get at least 1-2 converts to MBAA.

In the front page post that introduced UNIB, they mentioned that "Arcades currently running Current Code will get upgraded free of charge.". Does that apply to the updates or something else?

Does anyone know if there're any bus systems that end at least within walking distance of the arcade? It could help improve attendance in general if that was listed to show people without a car (like me) a way to get there without bumming a ride off of someone else.

I'd like to go, both for the BB tourneys and to finally be able to play MB against people for once, but I'd need to get a ride from someone else who's in/passing through Riverside if I wanna get there.

Hello, I just recently started playing MB today (3 hours of practice in total, I must be gdlk now). I have yet to choose a character, but I'm leaning towards Ryougi and VAkiha, so advice would be appreciated.

I'm in Riverside, California during the summer, and Sonoma, California (1 hour north of San Fran) during the Not-Summer and won't have a car until I land a job. Hoping I can meet some people that live there, cause I somehow doubt I'll get all that far without a scene.
