Sorry to interrupt the Love Max discussion, but here's some footage of Rise and Ken/Koromaru, among others, from a Twitch show the other day: http://www.twitch.tv/ultrachentv/b/537091579. Game play starts at about the 12 minute mark.

Ken/Koromaru look pretty strong to me. It's hard for me to tell what Rise can do yet -- looks like she has setups, but it's hard to tell how good they'll be from the stream. The highlight of the show for me, though, was at about the 17 minute mark.

Fri/Sat will probably be better for me than Thursday. I have some relatives in from out of town Thursday evening, which means I may not be free until late. The other days I will probably have time after dinner.

EDIT: Looks like either Thursday or Friday are pretty much the same for me -- I won't be free until after dinner. I should be able to make either day, though. Saturday is the BlazBlue ranbat.

If people are hosting Friday or Saturday, that's still better for me, but my previous plans for today were cancelled. It turns out that my fellow graduates will all be spending time with their family, which I'll be doing as well, but I should have some time later tonight.

Not sure how late I'll be if I stop by tonight. If either Tempered or Dippy are hosting Friday or Saturday, I'll probably just stop by then instead.

I don't think I can make Thursday. It's the day of my graduation ceremony, and I'll likely be doing something with friends in the program afterward. It's possible I'll still be free in the evening, but I'm not sure yet.

Either Friday or Saturday should be better for me.

I didn't really see what happened. Did you kick them off or something? Or were you just kind of being a pest about it?

I thought it was a little odd that Ray left as early as he did, but I initially figured it was because Ruben didn't show up. In retrospect, it may have been because he wasn't happy with the games being played. Erik's usually pretty laid back about things, but, again, I didn't see what happened.

And, I dunno, I don't think saying something like, "Sorry if I came across as selfish" would be that out of place on Dustloop.

And GGs everyone. Mario Bros. 2 was hype. Soul Calibur II was considerably less hype for me, but shout outs to Carlos for actually getting me to play it.

I wanted Koromaru by himself, but I suppose I'll have to settle for him in a hoodie.

EDIT: Something has come up and Thursday is looking worse for me. I may still be able to do it, but I'm not sure yet. I'd prefer Friday or Saturday if possible.

No SNES means no Mega Man X speed runs. Or Secret of Mana 3-player. :gonk: I suppose we can try to beat Mario Bros. 2 again. Or, heaven forbid, run things on emulators. :psyduck:

I guess I could actually learn an activate combo and scrub things out with Weiss in AH3. It's not a game I'm particularly interested in learning (I'd even put it below UMvC3 and SF4), but if that's what everyone's playing, I will give it more of a chance.

I'm still mostly interested in +R, and I'm really looking forward to Xrd. I'd like to play more Melty, but that game seems on the back burner for everyone right now. I've been playing some CP because the online is decent and it only takes minimal effort. I'm willing to give UNIEL a try, but I'm moving to Tucson in August, so I'm not sure how much chance I'll really have to play the game.

I've been playing CP 1.1 a bit, and thus far it really doesn't seem bad. It's basically 1.0 except with some of the stupidity is missing, so it ends up being a bit more fun and a bit less frustrating.

Aksys is a good choice for the localization; they did well with Accent Core and fixed all the bugs that were in the Japanese release.

I'm also out this week -- I'm super busy (also school stuff), and I probably need a root canal. Yeah, not a fun week for me.

Any chance of opening this up to more of the dustloop people? I'm guessing more people might be interested since Ruben hasn't been hosting. I figure Brian, at least, will want to play some Guilty Gear.

I currently have no plans to buy Love Max, but I'm not unwilling to give the game a try, either. I should have some time this summer to pick up a new game, too.

I'm actually getting more and more excited for P4U2 as time goes on. Not because I think the game looks good, but because I think it looks fun. I can put up with some balance issues and a few questionable mechanics if the game is more fun overall, and it looks like one of my biggest complaints (lack of depth) isn't as true anymore. Only time will tell how accurate that is, though.

Obviously I'm more hype for Xrd than anything else. I just hope Sol doesn't get nerfed by the time it hits consoles -- after playing low/mid tier Sol for the past couple of games, I wouldn't mind playing high-tier Sol for a while.

I'm hearing that P4U2 is supposed to be released in August in Japan and September in the US.

I still have approximately zero interest in UNIEL, but I am planning on playing P4U2.  Especially since they seem to be giving Chie back her plus frame(s) on 5A (I'm just shaking my head here, ArcSys). Way to release a patch that looks like it's going to change approximately nothing. I really hope I'm wrong about that, but I guess we won't know until we actually start seeing videos.

When's Love Max suppose to be released, again?

I won't be free on Thursday until late (I doubt I could show up before 9 pm), which is all right with me, but any other day would probably be better. I tend to show up a bit late, though, so maybe it won't matter much anyway.
