What happened? Seems like Shiki threw Akiha while she was auto-sparking.
I guess that confirms that auto spark is throw punishable.

It's probably just the player but VAkiha F looks pretty clunky. The damage output is great (I don't care how much you tell me VAkiha is supposed to do in MBAC but consistently doing 5k per momiji loop is definitely a bit more than she used to do), and the zoning looks really strong, but it just seems awkward. It looked like the guy was just running around hesitating the whole time and would randomly catch people with pillars and sometimes get a combo out of it.

Well it might be the player dropping combos a lot and seemingly hesitating so much, or it might be the wealth of silly kicks she gets, it just looks clunky to play right now.

It's either more random glitches or that's his new AD animation cause they wanted it to suck less.

From what I've seen, VAkihaH has to add a 5B to the momijis to keep them elevated, or has anyone seen different?  Also, EX flame orb > flame pit for frame advantage, even if you don't get the circuit and health drain anymore.

I've seen it done with 5B and without, and with 2AC, etc. It varies just like in MBAC, but 5B 2C might be more universal in MBAA.

The problem with Half Moon is that you don't really have control over when you heat activate. If you're low on health and stuck at around 100%, you have to gain 100% meter to heal before you die, which isn't a problem for Crescent. My judgment on Full Moon is resting on the fact that apparently you can't Heat Activate until you're in MAX. If you could do it, then it would see much stronger to me. Right now it looks like you lose out on a lot of healing in Full Moon because of the minimal Circuit control.

On the bright side auto ignite pits give frame advantage in the way 236C does, but that doesn't make up for how much she loses. It does look like the overall area her j.C covers is pretty big, though, it's not as bad as you make it out to be.

well the thing about this is this adding 400 more damage wouldnt really be much good unless of course extending the damage into the persons death thats the only practical reason i see for this

I don't see why not; both "new" styles are arguably weaker than crescent.
Unless there just happens to be a particular character/style that's overpowered. I love the concept as long as we don't end up with the 4-character tournaments of MvC2 and 3S.

Which is really dumb because apparently since now using EX moves in Heat takes up less meter and Half Moon starts with a full bar of Heat, between that and air spark/spark healing you, Half Moon might actually be playable, which would be really bad.

I can't tell exactly but from what I can see Circuit Spark now either heals back the damage/combo that you took when sparking, or heals up some of your red bar. Notice how whenever a person autosparked, that bit of health they lost always healed back from the spark.

I can tell you that both C and F style v.Akiha have Momiji loops, as they have the same ole 623 as always.

Uh, Akiha Tohno in MBAC has that 623 and doesn't have momiji. The recovery might be higher on one style's 623 and momiji wouldn't work on that style.

I'm pretty sure "twice the summons" for Vsion means her 3 normal summons and that move where she shoots out her whip and it draws the summon behind the opponent. So same 3 summons, but they can come from the back or front now.

Talking about it, they updated the site with screenshots(like that Nero's Rhyno x.x) and chars' move list /o/
There are 3 move list per char
So now we know Akiha has the least variety out of any character...

But seriously, we don't even know what most of the moves will DO, and even the ones we do know can vary a lot. Like I'm sure the name of the Flametongue hasn't changed, but now there's that auto-TK flametongue, and while Akiha/Vakiha's 214 had the same name in MBAC, they were totally different.

First of all unless you're in MAX, you should never use 2 EX air grabs in 1 combo since it wastes meter. Also if the 623B isn't hitting because Aoko is too high it's because you're not timing the 2C5C right. 5C should be delayed slightly.

Yeah I was doing alright until Touhou 11 came out, then I didn't touch MB for a week and now I started playing again... and it's just been bad. It's not so much my execution even, but stuff is just going wrong everywhere. My shields are always timed badly, it seems my attacks always come short or have too low priority, I can't get out of the corner, when I do get counterhits I can't follow up, and so on like that. Also it seems like I can't even find an answer to someone constantly double jumping over my head (no not crossups). Nothing I do seems to hit them and it feels like all I can do is keep blocking till I screw up. Anyone else had this experience?

Is there any reason why one does not see too many baras with warc, BaraEXrings sounds like it would be useful...
Probably won't counterhit anything with it cause most things you can bara out of will hit you before the startup of the 214C is done.
