I should be free Saturday. And Jeff, if you decide to come to a session Saturday (if we have one), bring your tools so I can break open my stick! :prinny:

Eh, Full Moon Wlen looked cool at first, but I played her, here's my opinions:

<Ultima66> and whoever wanted to play full moon wlen, she's worse than she looks
<Ultima66> no more 623 mixups, no more EX ice loops, no more tj
<Ultima66> tk*
<Ultima66> other than that she has the same set of normals as crescent except her 2B only hits once and does less damage
<Ultima66> her new 236 really isn't good
<Ultima66> you see the EX version gives tons of +frames
<Ultima66> but her 236A/B aren't good
<Ultima66> they're just very mediocre zoning tools
<Ultima66> and her 214 is nice but it really doesn't make up for all she loses
<Ultima66> she has len's 623 which isn't bad but isn't a good tradeoff for her old 623 mixups cause that comprised of most of her combo damage and some mixups

in b4 Japan comes up with a bunch of innovations with F-WLen and beasts with her. Then I'll come back to this post.

@Sean - Show my "barely legal" how "mom does it best" next time :fap:

lol I'm pretty bad at the game (been practicing GG over practicing EFZ). But I'll play with you next session. I won't be able to make a session this weekend, though.

I may or may not go to this depending on how I feel in the morning. If I show up, it'll probably be after the rest of you are already there.

I have a TV I can bring. Hopefully I remember.

Excellent. I don't see anyone bringing a PS2, so I guess I'll bring mine.

yo is this 3/5 rounds or 2/3?

36
Probably too short a notice to have a Guilty Gear tournament, but anyone want to have some GG casuals here? Unfortunately I have no car, so I don't have a means of transporting a TV since I'll probably take the train down there. :psyduck: Anyone want to bring a TV and/or PS2? I could bring my PS2, but it's one of the bulkier, slide-tray PS2s.

People play actually MBAC and GGAC at SFSU!?  :toot:  Where do you guys meet at? I'm interested in coming and can bring another GGAC player with me as well if there is any of that going on.

We won't be having GGAC at SFSU (unless someone brings a TV), but what sometimes happens is I host GGAC in my smallass apartment afterwards. Depending on the turnout, you may be able to come for GG, but I really can't promise anything. I usually only let about 4 people other than myself in my home for GG because we only have one setup (the others might also play MB or ST on a laptop), as well as space issues.

You're more than welcome to bring people for MB, though.  :psyduck:

As for where we meet, we meet in the arcade at the bottom floor of the Cesar Chavez Student Center. I'll try to be there between 1-2, and I'll have a laptop set up.

Saturday. SFSU. MBAC (and possibly MBR 2.009a if I install it) and ST. Maybe GGAC afterwards. Who's down?

I'm good this Saturday too. SFSU and then maybe ST/GG after?

It just occurred to me that my friend's birthday is this Saturday, so I won't be able to make it to this week's session. But if there's a session next Saturday, I should be able to make that one.

You may know me by my other aliases, Markyjoe or Alphonse. I don't mean to brag, but I probably have the best Alice in the world, both in MUGEN and IaMP. I could teach you a little something about 66A.

I'd be down for this. Anytime between this date and probably the first week and a half of January should be good.

Only if Tenkai MS paints the brackets again.

Haha. Unfortunately, it's highly unlikely that I'll be able to go to this one. I have classes that Friday and on the following Monday, so I don't really have the time to make the trip down.

Hey, you guys down for something this Saturday? We can have a regular session, or if we have a car, we can go to San Jose for GG/SF4/CvS2/etc tourney.

So now that the semester has begun, you SJSU guys figure out what day(s) would be best to swing by for some sessioning/mahjong/bunch of nothing.

Let it be noted that I cannot make it to anything before 5:00PM on a weekday.  Saturdays are always negotiable.

Just throwing it out there, but I like Fridays. I finish classes at 3 and the weekend just started, so I don't have to worry about getting home very early to get ready for school the next day. Post up if you guys are down for it.

As far as I know, most, if not all, of the NorCal MB scene (i.e. San Jose) have stuff to do on Saturday, so they won't be making it. However, I don't know the situation with the Guilty Gear players, but from what I gather by reading on Dustloop, the turnout with those guys won't be very high either.

I was planning on going if it looked like it would have a decent turnout, but now I'm kinda on the fence, leaning towards not going.

There's a small possibility that I might be a bit late tomorrow (3:30 or so). Just throwing that out there.

Oh, and if Kenji doesn't already know, we usually meet at around 2pm, in the Student Center's Rack-n-Cue
