I must respectfully disagree and say the more riffing in SF4, or any future fighting game, the better...but...I am biased.

The people on SRK are going a little bit too crazy imo, everyone is drawing ridiculous conclusions from the short trailer, it's absurd.

I agree. I don't even want to read SRK for the time being because they are all circle jerking to SF4. So many of the people there try to put up a front about how they are all about gameplay, but when you see that a third of the threads are about the story or what characters will be in it, it proves a lot of them are just Capcom fanboys. I wouldn't say more than 10% of the people going nuts over SF4 on SRK can play any fighter competently.
