Here is the basic schedule.

11:00 AM - Sign ups for all games begins.
12:00 AM - GGXX, SSFIV, MK start

as for UMVC3, BB, and KOF... those games will start roughly an hour or so after the other games start.

Teams start once all singles tournaments are finished.

We have the venue until 3 am. All tournaments will easily finish before then, but we will have extra time for casuals and money matches.

Also remember that there will be casuals at Nickel City on Friday night from 7 pm.

Regardless of what games you plan to enter, please be there at 11 AM for registration. Even though some games start later, we want to be able to make brackets as fast as we can.

As far as MB goes I'll most definitely start taking registrations at the same time and I'll announce when MB starts when ElvenShadow posts up a more complete schedule.

I'm sure SOMEONE going to this would have it. I know I'm buying it the week of FF so unless something happens with shipping there will be at AT LEAST one setup.

But I hope someone else would step up and be able to provide it because even though I'll most likely have it my laptop is going to be used for the bracket.

We got a couple of people carpooling (myself included) from MI to FF to stay there for the weekend. I'd ask on DL if someone can pick you up.

You've got me wrong, I live in Illinois and go to college in Michigan.  I'll be 20 minutes away from Nickel City over break, I was just wondering when I'll be getting a ride up to college again.  Regardless I'm in the upper peninsula so I imagine nobody is nearby.

I'll see if I can go, can't say for sure either way though.

Well even if you can't go Elvenshadow is having the venue open the Friday before with setups available and everything so if you can't make it to the actual tournament that'll be a second option.

And yeah since no one really said anything about actually running MBAACC I guess I'll do it so here's the rules:

Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code 1.07 PC Ver.
- $5 Entry fee (payout's 70/20/10 for top 3)
- Double elim, best of 2/3 games, winners finals, losers finals, and grand finals will all be 3/5
- In game macros are allowed
- No game breaking glitches, pausing will result in forfeiture of the match
- Winner may not switch characters, losers may switch character, both players will be allowed to switch moon styles win or lose.

...unless, of course, someone speaks up and say they'll run it.

Dancing machine. Universal walk speed buff will make traditional footsies a bit more viable in MB. Improved walk speed in addition to various +f normals is going to make her in-game super annoying.

Yeah and her walk speed wasn't too shabby in comparison to the rest of the cast to begin with. I hope I see more Ciel players in general take advantage of her walk speed like he did in the video.

landing then 236A is an option too that's not seen very often. Get them to respect this and you can start going in more w/ dash throw, dash 5A>4C, IAD, etc.

I think now with her airthrow not being as good as PS2 where you could run whatever you wanted, you're going to see this being used a lot more against characters with average / slighter faster wakeup speed. Characters like Ries and Kouma are still going to recieve the worst of her post AT mixup game in the corner. Ryougi on the other hand....

2nd worthy note: 623B OTG relaunches. I'm going to assume that this is her OTG relaunch across all 3 styles. I actually like that since it means she doesn't have to use meter to get optimal OTG damage now.

3rd worthy note: Like Zar said earlier, her damage took a HUGE hit. Optimal (for now) double flicker and she barely breaks 4K? I know Arc's defense is far from terribly bad, but really? 

Personal notes: Easily one of the better F-Ciel players I've seen since in a *long* while. I also liked the use of falling J.214C post airthrow, which it looks like you'll have to resort to more than ever against characters with faster wakeup speeds if you decide to keep the opponent in the corner.

Can it be New Years Eve yet?

Without further delay, I am proud to preset Frosty Faustings IV. Chicago's major winter tournament series. If you care at all about support the Guilty Gear scene and showing the world that GG is far from dead, come support this event. There will also be SSFIVAE, Marvel, MK, BB and more.

I AM TAKING PRE REGISTRATION IN THIS THREAD. IF YOU PLAN ON COMING, PLEASE POST YOUR TOURNAMENT NAME AND THE GAMES YOU WISH TO ENTER. I WILL COMPILE A LIST AND KEEP IT UPDATED. (pre registration is not required but it helps us to make brackets faster and will be beneficial for everyone coming.)

I have never run a stream before and don't have the equipment to do so. If someone coming to the event wants to run a stream, I would appreciate it. Please contact me about this issue if you are interested.

He already said that if there's an big enough interest for MBAACC 1.07 he'd be willing to make it a main game. If you're in the Mid-West and you consider yourself a MB player, you will not want to miss one of the first regionals for CC 1.07

I really REALLY like this suggestion.

Or rather. Have each shirt have a silhouette of one character and their respective name. That way, whenever we take pre-orders or whatever people can request what silhouette (most likely their main) they want.

And on the front, we can have the same tagline that the poster has with the Melty Blood Current Code logo
