If anyone wants a midweek meetup, my days off are Wed-Fri; and I can make Sunday happen, too.

Wed-Fri? Those are some pretty odd days off. :-\ I could possibly do Friday. Not sure about everyone else. Anything worth noting from last weekend?

Friday would actually be OK for me since I have Saturday off; I just won't be getting home from work until 6 or so.

As in years past, with the run-up to Evo my place will be available for sessions whenever. Not to say that much will change, really, given the tepid interest in P4A.

If anyone is curious, Tempered is in this bracket and Ryd is in this bracket.

It is pretty tepid. To the point where we were discussing Tekken Revolution for a while over dinner the other night.  :-X On that note, I saw the following information while I was at work in regards to the game:

    【1 Million Downloads Achievement Event】

    ■Implementation period
    2nd of July (9:00AM) ~ 9th of July (08:59AM)

    ■ Event Content
    ★1 million gold present!
All players that log-in during the period will recieve 1 million gold free.
★Chance of winning a lot of Gift Points!
Play either Ranked or Player match with either a Premium Ticket or Premium Coin to recieve five times the amount of Gift Points in each match.
    ★Fight Money & Experience boost!
Playing in any mode will give an added boost of 1.5x to both earned Fight money & EXP.
    ★New Characer Additions!
Jin Kazama & Ling Xiaoyu to be added to the roster.

    ■Emergency Notice!
★Large update to also be added soon!

Even more characters to be added!
A Warm-up training space to be added that will not consume coins!
Premium Costumes and Attack effect 「SHOP」 to also be added!
※More information on these will be added soon to the official site!!

So yeah, Jin and Xiaoyu to be added to the game, and as of right now I think they already are. Some people seem to already have Jin. But it sounds like you have to unlock them via earning gift points, and I only have the first 2 unlockable characters right now. :-\ Though according to the above info, earn 5x the amount of gift points when using a premium ticket/coin. So I guess it's time to go in with the 12 tickets I've stocked up at this point. :psyduck: Funny how we were discussing how Xiaoyu will probably get destroyed by invincibles so I'm kinda curious to see how she works. Also, some training mode will be added as well, and I hope it's as good as Tag 2's. I'd be playing right now but apparently something is up with PSN so I don't want to get random connection errors and lose these tickets I have. I also wonder why they labeled the last part as an emergency notice. lol

@Tempered: The Revengeance map pack for BlOps 2 will be available tomorrow so hit me up when you have the chance. I might do this TR update (if one is required) first since it'll probably finish faster than the map pack, but I'll definitely be on XBL tomorrow night.

And this one's my Mahvel pool, lol: http://evo2013.s3.amazonaws.com/brackets/mvc3_h1.html

Not that it matters, since I decided to enter that for jokes.  It'll be hilarious if I scrub out any wins though.

Any of you asshats doing anything on the 4th? I have the day off so I'm free for the fight games and to blow stuff up FOR 'MURICA!!!

Premium Costumes and Attack effect 「SHOP」 to also be added!
Here's the real question: will I avoid paying $8.95 to put Lili in a schoolgirl uniform?

...let's not think about that.

You know, I always gave you crap for your MvC3 team, but after watching Green Ace play at CEO -- I believe. Now I'm just going to give you shit for playing MvC3. :p

Pfft. NO price is too high for you when schoolgirl uniforms are involved. I'm sure you'll find a way.

On a more related note, I was under the impression you'd be going to AX (if it's this weekend) but I guess not. I don't think I have to be anywhere on the 4th but since it's in the middle of the week and all and I have work the next day, I might just be feeling really lazy. As for blowing stuff up, Tempered and I may be in on BlOps 2 blowing shit up there since the Revengeance map pack just released. But we'll see.

Man Carlos, I think you can actually get out of your persona pool. As for marvel, I don't think you'll be beating flocker. Everyone else I don't recognize. I think I can get out through losers in my P4 pool hopefully. I only recognize bananaken and Zeromus (just because hes a local naoto iirc).

Sorry HF. Didn't see the map pack came out until I saw it show up in my youtube subs. Probably play some when I resub to XBL but ive been grinding P4U quite a bit. Gotta catch up on the Naoto tech at least.

Oh you didn't get a year of gold? Well mine actually expired back in May and there was some promo deal going on that gave me 2 months for $2. Unfortunately that promo is no longer available because I would have just forwarded it to you and went for it again. :(

What?  Dante/Deadpool unblockable bullshit, or the full Dante/Deadpool/Phoenix?  Or something else?  The old dream team of Trish/Deadpool/Morrigan?  I saw Green Ace playing a Trish/Wesker/Dante team, so I'm guessing you're just talking about Dante unblockable resets.

Really though, I don't feel too bad playing Marvel because it's not the first time I've played a bad game, and it probably won't be the last.  I have fun combos and characters I like.  The game has a lot of bullshit, only some of which I really like, but it's not like I've never played anything like that before (F/UC).  And for all the shit you'll give me, you tsundere bitches still enjoy watching the game :nyoro:

Man Carlos, I think you can actually get out of your persona pool.

I guess.  Depends on the characters I have to play against and how up to snuff they are on Yukiko/S.Lab matchups.

Marvel has characters I like, but it doesn't play the way I would like. And who says I enjoy watching the game? It's on the tv every time we meet up, so it's not like I have a choice. :-\ Granted it does have its share of exciting moments, but still. I'd be far more productive playing something other than Marvel, within reason of course. Seeing all the suffering that goes on when people play that game is not something I want to be a part of. :bricks:

Not sure if I'll be available tomorrow since I get out of work much later in the day. Saturday, maybe. Sunday? Probably not. I just like to be lazy the day before I have to go back to work.

Really? wtf WHY were you guys playing DR of all things? I was wondering why his account was playing that game. If that's the case I didn't miss much because I like T6 better anyways. Nobody told me that anything was actually going down, let alone...that. I may have actually come over with a little notice. But, this is AZ, lol planning? I'll be available this weekend (Saturday most likely) if anyone wants to play DR and/or T6, if not, whatever. Then see you guys in 3 weeks.

P4A's inconsistency in resolving situations was pissing everyone off, we'd already played MB, and Dippy forgot he had SF EX plus Alpha.  Or something.

P4A sounds like it wasn't going very well. MB usually gets played for the rest of the time we're all there. And SF EX Plus Alpha was up for consideration? Must've been a pretty slow night.

P4A was mostly okay, but things that pissed me off: Naoto's inconsistency in where she ends up post-Maragidyne (she should be one of the few who gets tossed in front of Yukiko at the end instead of crossing over; didn't work out that way most of the time for whatever reason), and Naoto's traps being inconsistent were pissing off Tempered, too.  Sometimes I could get up, hit 2A, and take out oki traps.  Another time I hit 2A, COUNTERHIT Naoto, and the trap went off afterward anyway instead of being taken out by either the 2A or the fact that Naoto got hit  :bricks:

I figured you guys would be on the 24/7 P4A grind with Evo coming up and all. But it seems that the inconsistencies were far too aggravating to consider the thought. Guess I can't say that I feel too bad for not fully getting back into it.

dippy/tempered: Are you guys available this weekend. If so, I'd like to play some MB, but I'd also like to set aside some time for T5DR and/or T6 because of what I missed yesterday. God I hate you guys. >:( I was not going to play either of those games with their amazing netcode either.
