Any chance of opening this up to more of the dustloop people? I'm guessing more people might be interested since Ruben hasn't been hosting. I figure Brian, at least, will want to play some Guilty Gear.

I currently have no plans to buy Love Max, but I'm not unwilling to give the game a try, either. I should have some time this summer to pick up a new game, too.

I'm actually getting more and more excited for P4U2 as time goes on. Not because I think the game looks good, but because I think it looks fun. I can put up with some balance issues and a few questionable mechanics if the game is more fun overall, and it looks like one of my biggest complaints (lack of depth) isn't as true anymore. Only time will tell how accurate that is, though.

Obviously I'm more hype for Xrd than anything else. I just hope Sol doesn't get nerfed by the time it hits consoles -- after playing low/mid tier Sol for the past couple of games, I wouldn't mind playing high-tier Sol for a while.

again, lol Rise

If people want to come by to play GG, that's fine. I don't want a house party in here but at the same time, I doubt that would happen on a Thursday night anyway. I made a comment about it in the Dustloop thread.

As for your concerns with both P4A2 and Xrd... this advice should help.

If we go in on P4A2, I'm going to have to insist on English voices for Rise.  I always forget how bad her Japanese one is until I hear it.  Rare instance of American dub being way superior to the Japanese.

Will probably get there around 6:30-7ish.  Need to collapse for a bit after an unexpected shift this morning.

It's that time of the year again. Best of luck.

And it seems that this just got leaked. I find it hard to believe that the game really did sell well enough considering the BS that happened around its original release date a few years back. But I suppose it's true if it's getting a disc release.

If I remember correctly, the PSN release of AH3 did well enough, even with PSN blowing up a couple of days after it came out -- it had made PSN's top 10 in sales during the Spring and Summer period, and it was easily the most expensive game on the list. The games aren't too bad to localize in terms of cost (it's got to be a reprieve after some of the RPGs they handle), so I can't imagine that it would take too much for the game to be successful.

Arcana Heart, now with the totally necessary onsen episode!

Aksys is a good choice for the localization; they did well with Accent Core and fixed all the bugs that were in the Japanese release.

I'm also out this week -- I'm super busy (also school stuff), and I probably need a root canal. Yeah, not a fun week for me.

Anyone coming by Thursday or Friday? I do have one request: if you're coming by on Thursday, try to come a little earlier. Starting at 8:30 or so last week was not fun to deal with the next morning.

Sorry about that. But I'll be available on Thursday as usual and it will be the only day I'm available since I'll be out of town for the weekend starting early Friday morning.

Can probably do Thursday unless I get bogged down in jury duty shit and kill myself.  Dodged the early morning bullet, have to call in the morning and see if I'll be needed in the afternoon.  Should be able to make it around 6 though.

I can probably stop by tonight as well, but, if so, I won't be staying late. I'll try to get there a little earlier to make up for it (still not before 6, though).

EDIT: I just woke up from a nap and I'm not feeling all that great, so it looks like I'm going to have to pass tonight.

I haven't been on twitter in what feels like a while and I seldom visit dustloop. So I didn't realize that the BBCP 1.1 patch just recently dropped. Oh well, Love Max in less than 2 weeks. I'll be glad to play another game that bears the ArcSys label but doesn't suffer from the "lol ArcSys balancing" trend as of late. Granted, ArcSys didn't do the balancing for LM to begin with, but maybe that's for the better given the recent trend. lol

Also I had some fun with the Deadpool game last week and I think it's pretty obvious what my favorite part of the game was. :V Although I am a little upset that my one and only death came from a non-combat situation. I can slay thousands of dudes but I can't get through a sliding sequence without dying. :-\ I know the game pokes a lot of fun at modern gaming, so where were the cheesy QTE sequnces? :-X If the Let's Play series is shifting to action games for the time being, I recommend the next one be Call of Gaiden 2 Veteran Ninja Difficulty - directed by Michael Bay and Carlos/Tempered try it. This time I put a suggestion on the table and if it happens, I forsee too many blowups to count. :-X

That's fine.  Saturday might be best this week.  Not sure I'll be awake enough after work today, but if today's what everyone else wants, I'll see what I can do.

I might be busy this Saturday, but I'm not sure yet. Ruben's also hosting on Saturday. Either tonight or tomorrow should work for me.

I'm guessing tonight probably works best for H-F, though.

Status update? Tonight still works best for me but not so sure about everyone else. It's just past 5 now. I'll probably be leaving within the hour or so in order to not arrive too late like a couple weeks back. :|

I've been playing CP 1.1 a bit, and thus far it really doesn't seem bad. It's basically 1.0 except with some of the stupidity is missing, so it ends up being a bit more fun and a bit less frustrating.
