Good for Th and/or F.

Dippy, what did you use to run your PS3 on the ASUS monitor at EVO?
My PS3? I just plugged the damn thing in. :p

Are you asking about how I got a PS2 hooked up? I ran the PS2 through a Live Gamer Portable -- it upscales with about zero lag.

As for sessions... I'm not really sure. Let me check to see if Tempered's even up for it.

Seems like you've got a few inquiring minds over on dustloop, looking to play some UNIEL.

I will probably be able to make it tonight.

Seth so hype.  There are some fun matches in the whole set; the odd Chaos and Seth in particular.

So some issues have popped up and were probably not going to be able to host for about 2 weeks. Sorry guys.  :bricks:

No hosting for 2 weeks? Ouch. What happened if you don't mind me asking? If it's too much of a hassle then don't mind me.

I was watching some of those matches from a couple posts back, and aside from the Seth and Chaos players, I noticed some names, like kubo(Byakuya)? Dang.

I suppose a session for this week will depend on who can host. I might be able to host for 2-3 people which is really small sadly, but my place just isn't ideal for hosting. This was more or less our plan B for last Friday.

Stumbled upon this Seth combo movie. http://t.co/rSYrInQNRM

Can't be a Touhou since she doesn't have a silly hat.  I don't know if it's worth trying to learn; it seems likely to get fixed whenever they roll out the update.  Also kind of pay-to-win like Coren's description of C-Roa.  It looks pretty cool, but I'd question actual viability; air approach with a lot of shield should be able to get through that without too much trouble while guaranteeing vorpal, and from what's been tested, it seems you can't charge flashkick while doing that nonsense.

I remember the time when Carlos (wrongly) accused me of having a Reimu fetish or something like that back when we were playing DoA5U a while back. How one could come to such a conclusion is beyond me.  Who would believe that? I sure can't. :|

OF COURSE it's fair. You have to be perfect in order to land it, which no one really is. Just like perfect edin, no one can land it. N O  O N E. :V

Anything happening this week? I will be in town this weekend, so I could potentially attend a Friday or Saturday hosting.

Also, P4U2 is coming out! I'm excited, although it looks like I'll have to wait a while longer to try Adachi.

Unfortunately I don't think any of us are getting P4U2 via JP PSN so you may have to hit up the other guys for the day 1 access. If a session happens this week I'm not sure if I'll be able to attend but we'll see. Thursday would be ideal if possible.

I'm about as interested in P4AU as I am a swift kick in the dick. And honestly, if it was from a cute asian girl or something, I might go with the kick in the dick.  :gonk:

As for a session this week... probably not? I do feel kind of bad not having people get their inbirthing in, but I haven't been in any mood to play fighting games recently. Call back next week (or if you want to play Aquapazza... I would have put VF here but H-F might actually take me up on that).

I honestly won't have a lot of time to put into P4U2 even when it does get released here. It won't be a main game for me but I'll definitely mess around with it a little when I get the chance.

I wouldn't worry about people not getting in on the UNIEL action because I think everyone is still getting plenty of it because stuff goes down elsewhere. It's just that I haven't been able to attend anything offline because of my schedule and I hate online with a passion which is why I haven't been playing UNIEL as much recently. That doesn't mean I'm giving up on it though.

You're right, I would take you up on the VF offer, but would you take me up on Melty Blood HD remaster (if you know what I mean)? lol

Checking back a week later. Anything going down tonight by any chance? Though I haven't played FGs in a bit. If not I'll bug Tempered if he has time for any online stuff tonight.

I'm about 98% sure nothing is happening tonight, as most of the AZ anime players want to play P4AU right now and I want nothing to do with that. That and I've been told by my doctor to basically cut it out with the fighting games, at least until I can get my stress levels down a fair bit. :gonk:

Did they really tell you that? lol Ah well, maybe that's good advice.  :-\

I suppose it's best to just let the current flavor of the month dry itself out before people go back to being indecisive about what they truly want to play. I'm still a little disappointed that I haven't been able to attend anything offline in a while. But then again, it's not like I've had a shortage of games to play. AH3LM is getting its US release later this month so I'll definitely be picking that up.

I haven't been able to catch Tempered online in a while because it feels like forever since we've played online. He still needs to pick up COD4. :-X

We should do something this week. I'm going to be honest: I would much prefer hosting on Friday, given how late Tempered usually gets back on Thursday (and that reminds me, I need to get on fixing that bike), and I really shouldn't be up that late when I have work the next morning and I need to be up for work at 4 AM or so. I'm also not sure if I should have a full house, although if it was on Friday people would probably have to leave earlier (since Tempered would want everyone out by Midnight-1 AM or so).

Thursday/Friday seems to have always been somewhat of a conflict for one person or another. But regardless, I believe Tempered gets home kinda late on both nights. It's just that Thurs. tends to work better for him because he usually has an early start on Saturday morning. For me I tend to prefer Thursday only because I like waking up the next morning knowing that I don't have to be at work that day. It's not that I can't ever do Friday, it's just not preferred is all. And a full house? Space has been pretty limited and a few awkward situations have come as a result. But nothing that couldn't be dealt with.

I've been out of the FG loop for the past month and as such I've been playing other games. I'd feel out of place trying P4U2 right now, or at least until it gets released here. But I'm good for AH3LM or UNIEL. Maybe even some VF or...MBHD. :-X

Fridays are fine now. I work less hours on sat now since they're tired of paying me to do nothing for 8 hours. We don't have P4U2 so unless one of you nerds have it practice up uniel.

I would just always assume that Ryd is either practicing the violin or playing Pokemon.

I'm not even sure what we're playing (and not it's not a devious trap to bait everyone into playing Aquapazza). Practicing UNIEL is probably a good bet. Unless I just end up tying H-F to a chair and I make him play VF for 6 hours.

Last few weeks have actually been mostly reading and making the mistake of starting FF14.  I'm waiting on the US release for P4U, and wouldn't play it even if you had it since I'd need to training mode up regardless of who I wanted to play.  UNIEL it is, though I've been meaning to really start the Zato/Eddie grind...admittedly, Vatista will probably help a lot toward that end.

dippy, shouldn't you be hitting up your NorCal BFFs for AquaPazza? I'm sure they'd be thrilled to see you. Just sayin'. :nyoro:

I'll be sure to practice a little UNIEL before we meet up but I'm definitely down for AH3LM too. No, I haven't forgotten about that game even amongst all the UNIEL and P4U2 hype that has come and gone. Though it will be kinda jarring to play them both so close together since one encourages you to jump and the other frowns upon it. :-X
