SHG needs to make this an announcer add-on for AW. None of that Snoop Dog bullshit from Ghosts. :emo:

There are JP dubs of most of the modern CoD games (from MW2 onward, if I remember correctly). No idea who does the voice acting, though. The series actually does pretty well in Japan... not nearly as crazy as the numbers it puts out in the US, but each release is usually good for 300-400k units.

I know both tomorrow and Thursday are normal work days for Tempered, but I do have Thursday (and Friday, oddly enough) off.

Even after this long, I still find it funny that Squeenix (which is most known for Final Fantasy) is the publisher for the CoD games over there. I was always under the impression that it sold reasonably well considering in the older games, a fair portion of JP was lit up on the world map beneath the total number of players online. I also stumbled upon this a while back and I lol'd: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNV2_-gHvOA

But yeah, since I most likely won't be available for the next few days, Saturday would be the next best day for me. Doesn't sound like anything is happening at UAT this weekend afaik.

I'll only be able to make late night on Sat.

As for JP CoD, keep in mind that (in addition to the Japanese who might play) there are a lot of U.S. military bases in Japan, and those guys love their FPSs.

I've been feeling kinda sick for the past week so I'm not too sure if I'll be feeling well enough to head over later on either. What's the latest we'd be able to stay?

Footage like this illustrates how GG is poetry in motion. Lessons learned, never give up. You just...never know. :mystery:

tl;dr of last weekend's 3-way discussion.
- Zato's normals that use shadows should be disjoint.
- Millia's hair should be disjoint.
- Ky's sword should be disjoint.

Chie:
-2C: Faster start up; less recovery
-Lunge is faster, FC when punished (?), SP Lunge is projectile invul
-Dash and Backdash are slower
-5A now -2 or -3
-Can't combo off CH Throw
-Less damage on God Hand

Power Charge:
Changed to a stock system rather than timer.
Each attack performed removes a stock (even on block) (but not on whiff?).
Level 1 (120%) and 2 (140%) are 9 stacks, level 3 (200%) is 5 stack (not sure how overwriting works)
B Power Charge has more recovery.

I'm starting to have a little bit of faith in P4A's team.  But just a little.

Forget Shakespeare, this is the greatest tragedy the world has ever seen.

I was reminded of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HH2KlpY7e8.

I'm iffy on a lot of the Chie changes. She's a pretty fair character in P4U (assuming we're not talking about her shadow version), and she's getting a lot of nerfs. I really don't see why dash, backdash, and throw need to be nerfed.

Also, they seem to be buffing Minazuki. Why, I have no idea.  :mystery:

We'll have to wait and see what makes it into the final 2.0 release.

UNIEL: now featuring 8-way airdashes.

Yukiko updates:

Yukiko 2.0 day1 bnb

5AA>5B>5C>2C>214B>2C>214Ax6

around 3k dmg, 33meter gain

Lv3

236D>2C>5C>214B>2C>214Ax6>236236D 5300dmg

Well, I guess that solves the problem of high effort/low reward...

Like UNIEL

And Melty

...and VF? Plz?

and if you're reading this, you're doomed to play Aquapazza

And people will play Xrd, or something. I dunno.

Of course I'll be playing GG and/or MB. Though I wouldn't mind a little UNIEL to prepare for next week's tourney. Or AH3LM under rarer circumstances. A friend of mine might be visiting sometime next week and I told him about the tourney. Though what day(s) he'll be here are unclear right now so I'll be hearing from him whenever he figures that out or unless his plans get tanked.

On a sidenote, considering the festivities have been ending around 4-5 am, I suppose there is the possibility of the LP series' coming back? If that's the case it'll have to be like the last hour or so. It depends.

This is certainly possible.  Silent Hill 2, Fatal Frame 3, Deadpool, something Hitman, or, if Dippy has a functional X-Box 1, Stubbs the Zombie???

The last time I checked it, the Xbox does actually work. I think I only have one of the old Duke controllers sitting around, though.

H-F playing Silent Hill 2... are you trying to get us all killed???

I've actually played Silent Hill 2 before. :V If the Hitman games start getting played again, I got the trilogy off PSN+ for free a couple weeks ago. So you guys can collect trophies for me. :toot: Except for 2. I plan to get all of those eventually. :|

As per usual late starts, I should be there between 8-9.

Fuck, I forgot my 3DS there.  Don't pawn it or anything.

GGs in GG and VF old man games.  If it makes you feel better, Dippy, I got two matches off H-F.  Admittedly, that was after I got some damage back :laffo:

Sadly there was no Xrd for me. :( So I'll just have to play casuals at the tourney next week. But I did get in a lot of UNIEL, and yes, GGs in....VF. :toot: Even more surprising that you initiated said VF session instead of dippy or me. I think he's still mad about his 27-1 against you as opposed to his 4-15 against me. :V I'm just happy I remembered my throw combo. :-X

EDIT: ^Yeah, my excuse for losing 2 games is because I helped you remember ONE combo. :gonk: Had to consult the cheat sheet on VFDC for it. The first loss came from a bullshit ringout. But I guess that was karma for that one ringout I got earlier when I was trying to get a wall splat. :'(

Not to not going back to playing VF for months. :<

I had to make sure Tempered didn't sell it off for Dota 2 items, but it's OK. I think the next time I'll see you is for the tournament at UAT, so I'll bring it there (as long as I don't forget).

UNIEL was super frustrating at points, but I think (ha?) I was playing better at the end than at the beginning... which is all you can really ask for, I think.

I think the VF ended up happening because Ryd came by super early (for him, anyway) and I wasn't expecting anyone then, so we both end up looking foolish. It's probably for the best, as if I did notice Ryd was here when he first arrived he would have seen a ton of this:
