GGs everyone. I think that was the latest I've ever seen Dippy stay up.

Also, I need to start making Evo plans. I think you guys mentioned I could possibly stay in your room, but is there any room in the car? I'm assuming probably not if everyone's going.

I think I was a bit on edge due to the power outage earlier in the evening and I was probably wired all night due to that.

As for going to Evo, it's usually myself, Tempered, H-F Blade and Ryd. However, Tempered may not be able to go this year due to work obligations. You could fit five in my car but it wouldn't be the most fun drive. :p Part of the issue is that scheduled are still up in the air due to obligations still being a bit undefined.

I suppose let's try to plan for tomorrow? If you guys are hosting what's the earliest we're allowed to arrive? Now that I've finally opened up my copy of MKX and started unlocking stuff I can tag it along if anyone wants to mash in it. That and I've narrowed down my character selection to a few. Though I still haven't figured out how to sync my PS3 pad to my PS4 controller. :|

Who's in your crosshairs?  Still looking at Cassie.  And Sub-Zero because Sub-Zero.  Also might mess around with bug girl because some of her shit looks nasty in all the best ways.  Also down for tomorrow.  There might be some interest in UAT on DL.

I've been using Kung Lao and Sonya the most because they both seem relatively simple and effective at the same time. Kung Lao has one of the best punishers in the game (EX Spin). Sonya doesn't rely much on meter so that just means more chances to use her X-Ray which can do 50%+. Plus they both have dive kicks. Funny you mention crosshairs because I've messed around a little with Erron Black [Marksman]. Definitely not as easy to play as Outlaw but looks pretty fun. He's kinda like Elphelt as cheesy as that sounds; grenades, rifle stance, good normals, high combo damage vs cornered opponents, and a command throw. But I haven't really used him all that much because that moon errr variant requires some work.

I did notice there's some interest in meeting at UAT over on DL. Guess we'll just have to play it by ear. If I go to UAT I'll be sure not to forget my PS3 this time.

I guess most people are tied up with PCC.  See you guys at 7.  We doing dinner?  Looks like one guy is going.  One.  Hmm.

Oh right PCC is going down this weekend. x_X I'm guessing if only one person is available for UAT, then perhaps it's best to just meet up at 7? :psyduck: If so, then we'll just do a food run then?

Yeah I figured that out the other night but it so impractical. I like how the video says it features setups but there were none.

MKX was fun times. I know that the game can be pretty strict on inputs but after a while it seriously started to feel like there was TV lag. :-\ I REALLY wanna play Kung Lao but after seeing how successful players have been using him in recent tourneys I might reconsider because he seems so try-hard now. lol I'm glad but also surprised considering he's not even a top 10 character. I'll mess around with other characters here and there but will try not to get too caught up in it considering Animevo will be here before we know it. But at the very least I can say that competitive MKX has been pretty exciting to watch so far.

maybe if we get it setup on something proper it will feel right. But having to input commands while trying to predict the future is hard. Rip PS3 stick + TV ??

I'm guessing the PS3 stick just naturally has more lag in the game's current state which is unfortunate because it's nice to play the game on such a high-res tv.

Also,
FFFFFFFFFFFF YEAAAAAAAH!!!!!

BLACK OPS THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
now w/PS4 early access exclusivity.

And dippy, can you PLEASE make sure you pass boot camp before the beta comes out in August? Don't be that guy who constantly tries to fire his weapon with no bullet in the chamber. :P

...and you still owe me $2. :-X

PS3 sticks in MKX have additional input delay. Apparently Lab Zero and NRS are working to get that patched out before Evo but who knows if it will make it. The TV also does has some display lag -- I've tuned it to be as low as I can get it, but it's not going to be the same as a gaming-spec Asus or BenQ like we typically use.

Hey, it takes work to not have the awareness of a blind pig! Of course I had some really bad spots to go and do that... but is there ever a good situation to try to fire an empty gun in?

And yeah yeah yeah you'll get your two copies of Aquapazza. :3

Going to take a break from hosting myself this week.. If dippy wants people to come over i'm not going to complain. Just probably not going to play as many games.

I suppose if anything's happening, let us know sooner than later. Was hoping to get in a little time before next week's event. Otherwise I'll probably just be on AW since I haven't played it in a while and new content got released.

MKX Patch notes 6-23-15. Seems like this is the Kitana buffs patch so I might try her next time around.
Also, the winner of MKX at CEO2015 was.....DJT's Grandmaster Sub. :o Grand finals was pretty interesting because it had more variety than the rest of the top 8 which was practically Tanya mirrors. Oh and there was a D'Vorah player too.

But it's official, I've secured the time off for Evo. I requested it last Friday but it got stuck in the system or something so I had to re-submit it and it was approved almost immediately

Also, RIP PSN downloads. The DMC4SE festivities will have to wait until this upcoming July 4th weekend. Unfortunately I have a few hours of OT on Sunday morning so I won't be staying as late. I heard a much earlier start might be the case for this weekend.

And dippy, where am I supposed to go to register for additional Evo games assuming it's not too late? I'll try to see if I can register for Melee and Tekken 7. Would you also be willing to play a little AH3LM this weekend? I'd like to say I put in a little time before Evo rolls around. And you still owe me $2.  :-X

EDIT: nvm. It seems like registration for Evo is officially closed so I guess I won't be able to register for additional games at this point.

I need to know when people can get to my place the Thursday before Evo (and/or if it would make more sense to pick up Ryd and H-F on the way there).

H-F, I would be up for playing AH3:LM. Let's celebrate the 4th by shooting little girls into the sky. (Not literally, though... no, really.) Just make sure you come correct or your waifu is going to get kicked in the head... again. And RIP your chance at that $30,000 pot bonus T7 got (that Japan and Korea are going to be fighting over).
