I believe last year you picked me up because I was along the way. Not sure if that will be the case if you're picking up Carlos.

For tomorrow, what time should we meet up? Last week I thought I heard of an earlier start around 4 pm but not sure if that's too early.

I talked to Tempered and he doesn't want people coming by until about 5-6, so I would go with that.

I'll probably be there between 5-6 then. Not sure how busy other places will be tonight, but I was considering buying a pack of ribs or 2 for dinner tonight so we don't have to travel. Any other suggestions? Just a thought because I won't be staying super late since I have a few hours of OT tomorrow morning.

Just trying to get everything squared away, what time are we planning to leave on Thursday? And I get out from work a little early on Wednesday, but like last year, anyone up for a cram session on Wednesday night? Chances are I won't be getting any sleep that night anyway because it'll happen during the trip. If not, then no worries. Debating on whether I should bring my laptop along in case we end up watching streams throughout the weekend. In any case, I should have all my packing done by tomorrow night. And I JUST remembered dippy that your older PS3 doesn't have Xrd 1.1 on it and your other one doesn't have it installed. If necessary I can bring my PS3 because I have it installed and it's updated so there are 2 Xrd setups.

Won't be available Wednesday since family decided it'd be good to have a surprise visit or something, and I figure I should spend a day with them before running off to Vegas.

I'm looking to leave early Thursday morning -- planning to leave from my place at roughly 7 AM or so (and hopefully I actually leave around then in this instance). Also, be aware that there is no free Internet access at the hotel, so even if you brought a laptop someone would have to pay up for Internet access.

As for a session today, I know Tempered has work early tomorrow morning so I don't think he wants people staying that late. The issue with Xrd I should be able to fix, although I may need to dick with the PS3 a fair bit. I could also probably just borrow Tempered's copy if ultimately needed.

I'm aware there's never free wi-fi access at the hotels but we always split wi-fi costs anyhow, but it was just a thought.

For a session later today, I wasn't planning on staying too late. I do get out from work earlier than usual but I'll text you and see what's going on around then.

Probably can't make this weekend; couple different familial obligations.  Also working the next few Saturdays; any chance we can do Sundays and start/end a little earlier in the day?

Don't think I'll be available tomorrow (Sunday). But for the next couple of weekends I don't see an issue with Sundays. Earlier start/end would be preferred.

Tempered and I have been playing MKX lately. Might haul my PS4 to try the game without the extra tv lag. Other than that I'm guessing it'll be more or less whatever people feel like.

MKX stuff for Tempered: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmPpcSv3ZSQ
Pig of the Hut recently released his Kenjutsu Kenshi guide and from 6:25-8:25 he shows how to punish some of his options. I tested d+4 into tele-push and it seems like Kung Lao can't punish it which is pretty shocking. I tried using Mournful Kitana which is what I've been kinda messing around with and it seems she can use her shadow kick to punish but the spacing and timing are extremely tight. So kinda bleh.

Also, Sub Zero's b+2 overhead is -13 regardless of spacing. So EX hat spin is beyond free in terms of punishes but you can actually use f+2,3 to punish instead and use the meter for a bigger punish.

Dragon's Fire Liu Kang pseudo-block infinte w/Tom Brady commentary. Apparently this isn't exactly new, but it's still pretty lolzy. Namely the end parts of both videos where he mentions having to take a hit to get out of this sequence.

Guessing that was a "no" for the weekend.  Either that or you guys are dicks and decided to go without me.  Also, why did nobody tell me there's a Vocaloid IA game on the Vita?

For a moment I thought I was the one being left out of the plans. But I suppose that wasn't the case. :psyduck: But judging by what transpired, I'm guessing "no" was the final answer.

Well, I might not be playing fighting games next week with the BlOps 3 beta dropping a week from now. I think I have an idea of which specialists I want to use first. I'm hoping that it fares better than the  pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-alpha build of SF5. :-X
