Sometimes I wish Melty had SSBM's "LRASTART. Sometimes I make so many mistakes in a single round I just want to quit to character select immediately instead of grinding out the match, playing progressively worse and worse due to frustration at my own errors.

Make sure you know where and why you are making those mistakes and iron them out.

I'm not sure if I can head over there tonight. It will depend on how long this family dinner I'm attending is going to last. I also haven't played MB since Evo because I think I burned myself out there. x_X

Anyone available on Tues.? I might be picking up BBCS then since I'm looking for something new to fiddle around with, at least until AH3 arrives. :V

Hope you can make it! I need to practice against you, H-F. Tucson is here. John just went through 45-0 using F-Hisui, H-Vsion, F-Vsion, and C-Satsuki vs. his H-Len.... oh well, more reason for him to practice!

You know what choco, it's okay that I lost so much - you guys are good players in that you can actually give me some advice on what to change about my playstyle and what might work better instead of just trolling me all day long. Though I think I'm gonna learn some Roastbeef - I've really wanted to, but continuously feeling like 90% of the reason I'm losing with HLen is because I just don't really understand her game and don't really mesh with her playstyle finally pushed me OVAR THE EDGE.

Looks like I need to get a new pad. :( The only problem I have with getting one from Goodwill, is that I won't know if it works properly or to my liking until AFTER I have bought it, and by then it would be too late.

Sorry I wasn't a good source for practice. I still didn't feel like putting in my all into those matches since I'm still feeling burned out from Evo. But I am considering playing C-V.Sion on the side, so we'll see.

Also, Ted, get at me on AIM. CS on Tuesday anyone?

Hosting tomorrow as usual? Also, I wanted to ask, is that silver PS2 controller that I used from last week still there? I might need to borrow it again. I've gone to 2 different Goodwill stores and none of them had PS1/2 controllers. :(

In my last post, I was referring to using tomorrow as the opportunity to go to Goodwill. :V If that's what you mean, then ignore me. Are there nearby Goodwills close to the MH?

Ok i missed that part. anyways take me with you on your goodwill hunts. Unfortunately there aren't any goodwills close per say, but a theres a bit scattered about not too far from MH as well as a bookmans and other thrift shops. Kinda wierd you couldnt find any ps1 pads. theres usually a few when Ive gone in the past.

Make sure you know where and why you are making those mistakes and iron them out.

I don't get to play very often lol, so it's going to be a VERY long, drawn-out process.

I'm checking the AZ thread on DL and it sounds like some of the other guys are going elsewhere today. ???

I still need to return that PS1 pad at Bookman's. Today is the last day. <.>

GGs last night everyone. Unfortunately I didn't get to play you Choco. :( I play the SICKEST F-Nanaya ever. Who else can get the last hit of his rekkas to whiff against Satsuki, let alone 3 times in a row? Looks like I need to find a new Nanaya color, because Carlos stole mine. What a bitch. :'(

What the.....

SHIT JUST GOT REAL!

But man, I played X Collection on PS2. :\ And I don't have my copy of X Collection with me.

Btw Sam, if you like the Mega Man franchise as much as I do, there's a certain doujinsoft Mega Man-style game that I think you'll probably like. The game specifically caters to people like us. But most importantly, I want to see how you handle the little surprise I have for you. >:D I might make people run the gauntlet on this one. You only get one shot before passing it on to the next person.

Haha, no worries; you knew a lot of stuff that most people don't based on watching your youtube videos, so if anything I'm excited to see if you've got any new tricks for me on this one =P

I love the megaman franchise, but I'm not particularly fond of the original series outside of megaman 9 =(

I played each of them through once at the very least, but I always miss the mobility of my dash =(

I believe you're speaking of Rosenkreuz Stillette or whatever it's called, right?  I saw will playing it a bit; looks pretty rough all around hahaha

Hahaha the dash. That's the one complaint that MMX fans have about the OG games. Son, back then people were hardcore. We could only jump back then. lol As much as I love the X games, dashing makes it too easy.

So you know about RKS? Damn, how recently did you see it? You might be prepared for what I have in store for you then, or you might not. :X But yeah, it's pretty tough, but I wouldn't quite say it's as difficult as MM9. MM9 gave me a thorough ass whoopin' the first time around. :psyduck:
