We should review the plans for BT2.

At some point, I'm going to rape the girl in your avatar.

Wait, that has nothing to do with traveling to BT2. My original plans were to get to Choco's at around 10 AM (give us a bit of a buffer to get there before MBAA starts), but Tempered has been making some noise about not wanting to go.

Ehehehehe....if you knew what she was about, you'd be dead before you got the chance. :V

So does this mean we're scrapping BT2? :( Tempered you can't let me suffer through loli dunking mixes alone. :-\

Well the clock's ticking. It seems that NorCal is going and their drive is just as long if not longer. Do we really want to be the no-shows on this? Melty isn't going to be at WCW2 judging by the looks of things. :|

Alright, so now that that's out of the way, maybe we can get the ball rolling. To my knowledge, NorCal has already left. Do you guys think it would be possible to leave tonight and head to bell's so that way we're not rushing tomorrow morning? If we leave at 10 tomorrow morning, we'll be cutting it real close and probably won't have much time to play casuals to warm up for the tourney. If we left tonight, we could spend the night at bell's, get rested up, and before leaving for the tourney we could get matches in. What do you guys think? Plus, I've been waking up really late recently, so I'm afraid of sleeping past that 10 am departure time. :|

9 am? The place opens at 10 am and everyone will be playing casuals then. We'll be missing out on that. :V

If you have a PS2 memory card with 2.5 MB free, plus a working PS2 that isn't super new... then I can get you up and running with the game. I will need to mod your memory card and provide you with a patched disc to play the game on. You just need to come over so I can do the work.

This is how it works once you have the memory card mod and disc: Insert disc, close tray, turn off system. Insert memory card, turn on system, watch it boot to a grey screen with various options. Press X and that will boot the disc. Very simple.

I think my plans for the weekend were cancelled. If that's the case, then I should be able to attend the meetup this weekend.

A good few, depends on the weekend.

Most weekends you can expect 4-6 people.  Sometimes we get a couple extra.

EDIT: the 4-6 people refer specifically to the Melty players.  There's usually more there just playing random games like TvC, GG, BB, SF4, etc.

EDIT 2:
Should we start getting a headcount/discussing the rules for ranbats?  I don't think we want an entry fee, and the number of people I think would warrant being able to do a round robin if we start a little early.  I really think we all need to be playing more of each other, since matchup knowledge is sparse as it is.  I think we'd be foolish not to pass it around as much as possible.

There's me, Tempered, you, Ryd, H-F, Dippy, and probably Ted. If they show up, Kevin and Brian should be down as well. I'm down with ranbats this weekend if we have a decent showing. I'm down with no entry fee, but somehow, I want SOMETHING to be on the line to get us to play better under pressure. 25 - 50 cents sound okay? Maybe even just gather up some change and put it into the pot. That way it doesn't feel like you're really losing anything, but you have something to gain depending on how well you do.

Kiiroe: Everyone is welcome to visit at least once. The last person who got banned from the house came over like... 3-5 times before proving to be too ignorant to learn basic social skills. We're not that strict, so feel free to come by, watch matches, and maybe we can even get you set up on a TV on your own so you can practice the same. I could even sell you a PS2 for $40 if you'd like. I have an extra one lying around right now.
