Oh, and by the way.. I think Red Arcreid as Rena is awesome. Fits very well. Satoko Mech Hisui is really just the color I pick in-game. For the picture, anything goes. I've also been thinking about Claire from Claymore for Mech Hisui, but the personalities don't fit. But meh, that doesn't really matter too much... especially since Jaxx and I agreed that Nero should cosplay Nabeshin with the afro.

It looks like there's some real kung fu heroes over there in California.

EDIT: Not to put us down or anything, but I was surprised that we didn't crack the top ten.

I'm eager to hear how things went, but I don't want to clutter up the new thread- maybe we should keep the old one for discussion? I'm not sure what's OK to talk about on this one quite yet.

EDITII: I like what they did with the team tournaments, and judging from the Jaxx vs. sp00ky vid, the gap between you guys and the tournament winners looks like it can be negotiated with a bit of work. Grats!

A lot of good people showed up for WT4! So while I am sad AZ didn't crack into top 8, I feel we did very well. Choco lost in winners to sp00ky and lost in losers to Arlieth. Jaxx lost to Psylocke in winners and lost to sp00ky in losers. Shashin lost to Leo in winners and to Zaido in losers. I lost to Scott in winners and Choco took me out in losers. There is no shame in being defeated by these players! And for the most part, no one was absolutely slaughtered : p Good games, my friend.

Of course, I'm not making excuses or anything. While I feel we did well, it's true we could have done better! We were outplayed by the Top 8, but we ain't down for the count : p AZ gon come back and return it TENFOLD - y'all see

I felt a lot better playing some of my friends in Texas on MB. I can't wait for evo when I meet up with the team for some melty blood.

My girlfriend is a bit out of practice, but has a decent Chun in 3s, she's even entered a couple tournaments. Maybe once I get a home copy I'll get her into MB.

Ah, don't worry.. I'm just half-trolling :p I remember a random chick rockin' it with Tekken at GameWorks and I personally know a girl that can play Smash competitively.

I'm sure chicks that are good at fighting games exist. They're just so few and far in-between. To be good at a fighting game, you gotta dedicate hours of training mode time to get your combos down perfect. While lots of dudes can find enjoyment out of that sort of grind, I can hardly imagine a girl doing it. Because it's not fun. Guys are more able to do repetitive things than girls are. Okay, I made that up. But meh! It sounds right >: |

And shoot, you'd probably beat me! I still need a lot of work with MB ; ;
