- TVs: 3 + 1 from KatanaDash
- CRTs: 1
- PS2: 2 MBAA Setups; 2 GGAC Setups + 1 Backup
- Surge Outlets: 3
- Chairs: 9
BYOC

Updated list of setups.  If everybody, who posted, is bringing their allotted setups, then we're good.  The office can hold no more than 5 TVs. So we're looking at 2 setups for ggac and 2 for mbaa + 1 backup. If you're bringing a setup, then please try to show up, at least, 30 minutes prior the tournament time.

Remember, the tournament is, tentative, to start at 2pm. The reality is that Nor Cal has loads of, driveless, amiable people - which has it's pros and cons. Don't feel pressured to arrive on time. But if you are going to be late, then contact PhaethonH, Ginseng, Tsubasa, Honnou, or I. And if you do, then please show up - no later - than one hour from the appointed tournament time. We will be starting it without you.

Mad salty, also it ended up doing less damage than your full BNB, so my point ("WTF?, WHY?!") is valid.

Also Oscar, why doesn't the camera ever catch me when I'm playing well? :(

Only cause i missed the air ender due to major suckage!!!!1!1!  You didn't tech so that would've been extra 1.5k had i done the additional inputs properly.

As for why I do it, sometimes I don't feel the last rekka would connect so I throw that thing out to see if it'll hit. If it doesn't...well I eat the 5k and feel SUPER SPECIAL! If it does hit, it drains good chunk of red health and gives them the option to tech (unless counterhit) or not tech in which case i follow for 3-3.5k very invalid combo.

Don't be mad salty, anger is bad for the soul. Be one with the universe~!

You don't want me to answer that  :psyduck: Don't worry about it though there was one match where I played so terribly I decided to delete it as nothing could be gained by watching it  :emo: Given that my idea of super random selection for team battles was a complete disaster I think that if we do teams again 2v2 would be a better format, that way everybody is more likely to get a chance to play.

Not that type of execution. I am executing the grabbing a beer motion while I wait for the lag to clear after a super. I'm two steps away from making it all the way back  :slowpoke:

Alrighty guys.  Just 6 days away from our first MBAA ranbat.  I thought that this accumulated more hype than I expected; so I added some additional IMPORTANT information on the tournament.  Take a lookie and you'll see.  :3

Ok so, the likely route to get to the ranbat is via bart and caltrain, if we wanna make it on time we pretty much need to be on caltrain at the 10:31 departure from the Millbrae station.
http://www.caltrain.com/timetable.html

It looks like it's pretty much a walk from there, unless someone can pick us up at the station.
Walking Route
Caltrain will cost 5$ for a day pass, plus whatever your bart cost is, so make sure you bring enough bux to cover that.
We can discuss the remaining details on Friday.
Post up if you plan to go, or if you can pick our poverty asses up from the train!

Alright, my posts finally work now. I had some weird error before.
Thanks for the stick tips!

I got a pretty decent stick from Oscar. The stick was tight at first, and I couldn't open up the stick because the minus head was kinda broken, or if it was even a minus head. I made a ghetto stick loosening device and left it overnight for two days, and it got a lot better.

The buttons are great. All my Melty buttons passed the Stepmania test, although a few of the others need to be replaced.

It's very light and portable, with PS3/PC inputs, so I'm liking my purchase.  :D

Are we still going to do that Roa tournament?

:blah:

Yeah those screws are all stripped out  :psyduck:, I sold it to cheap because of all those defects from the various and clumsy modifications done to it since I got it (it was my first stick, but I have had no use for it since I got my HRAP). I don't think a Roa only tournament would be worth doing or watching, since most people would just be picking him for tourney rather than maining him, but teams of 2 using the same character, different grooves might be cool (ex. team kohaku vs team nero).

Sounds good. I think I may replace the stick for long term usage though. My grip style just sort of requires loose sticks. I've been managing by holding it at the very top and using the leverage.
What model of Sanwa stick should I use to fit the FS3?

I have no clue, Jeff did the mods on my sticks, and he was just using parts from my HRAP. FS3 aren't really easy to mod, but I am sure somebody has done it before. Your best bet for an answer to that question is SRK's tech talk forums
